Haifa Shamsan is a fashion designer and blogger from Butetown in Wales. She also happens to be a proud Muslim, and wears a hijab. No big deal, right? Or is it? Her headwear still seems to confuse some people, and she has to negotiate a few personal dilemmas like double chins and postmen along the way tooIn conjunction with #Towerlives, an initiative aimed at explaining what it’s like to live on a tower block estate in the UK in 2016, Haifa gives a voice to the Muslim community by unravelling showers, hairdos, bedtime and other hijab-related stuff.
