Wigan: Uwe Rosler says club 'hungover' from last season

Wigan Athletic manager Uwe Rosler believes a "hangover" effect from last season has contributed to their moderate start to this campaign.
The Latics played 62 games in 2013-14 as they featured in Europe of the first time, reached the FA Cup semi-finals and lost in the play-offs to QPR.
Rosler's side are 18th in the Championship and were knocked out of the League Cup by Burton.
"I think mentally we have a hangover from last season," the German said.
He told BBC Radio Manchester: "This club had to go through an enormous amount of stress, physically, mentally - not one football team in Britain had been put under that sort of pressure and stress.
"We are not happy where we are, everybody understands that, and I have never hidden away from the responsibility."
Rosler, 45, moved to the DW Stadium from Brentford last December and helped galvanise the Latics following the sacking of Owen Coyle.
The former Manchester City striker brought in nine players over the summer, but also gave the squad an extended break to try to combat fatigue.
"I thought six-and-a-half weeks' holiday would be enough that the players recover," added Rosler.
"We know what we are doing and we know the reasons. All the reasons we can't tell you.
"This club has been through a very difficult 12 months and we have to get out of this, we can only do that together - manager, players and the supporters."
