Chandrapur: Leopard on the loose leaps through roof

A leopard caused panic in the city of Chandrapur, in Maharashtra, on Monday when it sprung from the roof of a house and charged at rescue workers.

Officials given the job of trying to capture the animal scattered after it burst from the roof, but one man unable to outrun the big cat felt its teeth sink into his backside.

The leopard sought refuge in the bathroom of a home, before being captured after a four hour stand-off.
