Chatham spine fractures man 'turned away'

A Kent man who fractured his spine in multiple places claims he was turned away twice by Medway Maritime Hospital and told he was faking his symptoms. The hospital is now investigating what happened in Lee Chilman's case.

The 37-year-old from Chatham claims it took three visits to identify his injuries, despite having had a CT scan taken on the first occasion. The hospital has since apologised.
