Surrey Police are being investigated by the IPCC after a man's shotguns were seized by the police last year but returned four months later. He went on to kill two people.

A round-up of the day's top news and sport with Anna Foster and Tony Livesey. Surrey Police are facing questions about why they returned a number of guns to a pensioner, who later went on to shoot dead two women. John Lowe, who's 82, was convicted today of murdering his partner Christine Lee and her daughter Lucy at his puppy farm in Surrey earlier this year. Plus we hear from Blur front man Damon Albarn, whose solo album has been nominated for this year's Mercury Prize - and we talk to a woman from Hull who has undergone radical surgery, after losing part of her leg, to create a new knee joint from her left foot.
