How do you make a multi-million pound Lego movie?

One of the big successes at the cinema this year has been The Lego Movie.

The film has made more than $468m (£294m) at the global box office off a budget of $60m (£38m).

Although it does contain some real Lego blocks, the film is primarily made up of computer generated images.

Al Moloney spoke to directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller about how they decided on the visual style of the film.
