Angela Lansbury sends good luck to another 'Madame Arcati' - Lynda Snell
Dame Angela Lansbury - who has starred as Madame Arcati in Broadway and West End productions of Blithe Spirit and won a Tony award for it - has sent a special message to Lynda Snell and her cast to wish them all the best as Ambridge prepares to stage Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit.
In a special treat for Archers and BBC Radio 4 listeners, a 90-minute radio drama production of Blithe Spirit will be broadcast on Boxing Day at 2:15pm. Guest starring Julian Rhind-Tutt as Charles Condomine (or is that Douglas Herrington?!), Blithe Spirit on BBC Radio 4 also features Archers stars Carole Boyd (Lynda Snell), Louiza Patikas (Helen Archer), Joanna Van Kampen (Fallon Rogers), Eleanor Bron (Carol Tregorran), Michael Cochrane (Oliver Sterling) and Charlotte Martin (Edith).
