Darrell Clarke: Leeds United approach Bristol Rovers boss

Leeds United have made a formal approach to speak to Bristol Rovers manager Darrell Clarke.
Rovers offered Clarke an improved three-year deal after the approach, stating Leeds had "failed to meet conditions" set by Rovers.
The 38-year-old was manager when Rovers dropped out of the Football League in 2014 but he has led the club to two successive promotions since then.
MK Dons boss Karl Robinson turned down an offer on Friday to manage Leeds.
Clarke began his managerial career at Salisbury City, where he secured four promotions in five seasons before joining Rovers as assistant manager.
He was in charge when they were relegated from League Two, but Rovers were promoted back into the Football League at the first attempt and finished third in League Two in 2015-16 to reach the third tier.
Rovers released a statement confirming the approach to speak to Clarke but said nothing else would take place until Leeds met the club's conditions.
Current Leeds head coach Steve Evans has received no word on his future at Elland Road, but is due to return to work at the club on Wednesday.
