A local author specialising in early aviation, is searching the island for one particular high flyer.

Vincent McDonnell has spent most of his life as an artist in Northern Ireland. Over 90 pieces of his latest work, story masks are on display at the Higher Bridges Gallery in Inish Ceithlin.

Its 124 years old, has a five foot pendulum that weighs sixteen pounds, and standing at nearly 18ft tall. Originally built for Portrush train station, it’s been in Barrys Amusement Park for the past seven years. But now it has to move.
