    Lewis Hamilton

Nine years ago to the date Lewis Hamilton won his first ever Formula 1 race - the 2007 Canadian Grand Prix.

Fast forward to today and the world champion is looking good to claim the 45th win of his career.

Has Hamilton got his mojo back? It's looking likely.

That's it from us, but join us again at 14:30 BST for final practice, followed by qualifying. Cheerio.

    Eeeeeek.

Fernando Alonso once again threatens to become the latest champion to hit the wall of champions as he skims it again.

  12. Cars throwing shade

We're getting a lot of images through of the cars in the shade in sector two of the track.

Time to shed some light (so to speak) on some of those drivers we've not mentioned much this evening...

Sebastian Vettel needs to wash his mouth out with a bit of soap. He's been very sweary over the radio this season and he's turning the air blue again as he has a go at both his tyres and a bit of traffic. Let's have less of that, Sebastian.

  15. Post update

Kimi Raikkonen doesn't seem too happy with his car. He's had extended spells in the Ferrari garage and he is back in there now.

I hear/read this a lot. Do you agree? Is it difficult to consider Nico Rosberg a title contender, despite the fact he leads the championship?
