  2. Disruption 'will be kept to a minimum' during hospital car park work

    Car parks at hospitals in Grimsby and Scunthorpe are getting a £400,000 upgrade.

    The changes will focus on new systems for payment and the use of automatic number plate recognition.

    Hospital bosses at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals Trust say disruption will be kept to a minimum while the work is going on.

  4. Tools stolen in football club burglary

    Thieves who raided a football club stole power tolls that were being stored in changing rooms.

    The thieves broke into Louth Football Club in Park Avenue between 21.30 on Friday, 15 April and 11.00 the next morning.

    They forced the doors to the changing rooms and stole a compressor nail gun, an electric welder, a screwdriver set, a socket set and a grinder.

  8. Hit-and-run driver leaves man with life-threatening injuries

    A man has been left with life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a car that failed to stop near Gainsborough 

    Officers were called at around 11.15 to the incident on the A631 near Beckingham after a man was hit by a car.

    An air ambulance attended the scene and the man has been taken to hospital in Sheffield with potentially life-threatening injuries.

  11. Green light for Reds after test pass success

  12. Traffic and travel across Lincolnshire: Accident on A1

    If your journey takes you onto the A1 this afternoon this is one to be aware of. The A1's closed southbound between Tuxford and Carlton-on-Trent, just north of Newark, because of an accident.

  13. Ice cream man targeted by roadside robbers

    An ice cream seller in a van has been robbed by a gang who initially flagged him down claiming they had run out of fuel.

    The incident was on Saturday on Doncaster Road, Scunthorpe.

    The van driver left the scene but was "boxed in" by two vehicles further up the road and robbed.

    There have been reports of similar offences all on the same day in Barton upon Humber and near Humberside Airport.

  14. Police search for driver after cyclist left on pavement in hit and run

    A cyclist was left lying on the pavement after being hit by a car which failed to stop.

    Police say the 29-year-old local man was taken to hospital in Skegness at 18.45 on Monday, 18 April.

    Burgh Old Road

    The incident was on Burgh Old Road. The only description of the vehicle is that it was a dark colour, possibly black. Any information should be passed to police on 101.
