    On the eve of an historic vote for the people of Norfolk and the UK we end our coverage with a reminder of the main stories of the day here in the county:

    • There's been severe disruption on the trains between Norwich and London following flooding this morning at Manor Park. This is now expected to last until midnight
    • An inquest has heard a couple whose bodies were found on a boat on the Norfolk Broads died of carbon monoxide poisoning
  2. Thousands of cars dock in Great Yarmouth

    The biggest cargo ship to visit the Port of Great Yarmouth has docked with a cargo of 3,000 cars. 

    The Glovis Splendour is 200m (219 yds) long by 32m (40 yds) wide. With 11 decks she stands more than 30m (32 yds) above the edge of Great Yarmouth harbour.

    The vehicles began their journey in Turkey, stopping in Rotterdam before crossing the North Sea. 

    Virtually ever bit of available space around the port is being used the store the Hyundai cars until they are ready to be taken to dealerships across Britain.

  3. Watch: Heavy rainfall disrupts rail services

    Hundreds of Network Rail engineers have been out in force to pump water away from tracks and repair damage after heavy rain and flooding caused disruption to passengers.

    Flooding at four stations in Essex meant it was unsafe to run trains through the affected area.

  4. Euro 2016: I owe them both a coffee

    I've been talking with the new sponsor of the South Stand at Norwich City football club who says he owes Robbie Brady and Wes Hoolahan a coffee after their recent goals for the Republic of Ireland in the Euro Championships.

    The owners of the Galway Roast coffee shop, based in Norwich's London Street, are sponsoring the stand after Jarrold recently ended its 12-year partnership with the club.   

    Co-owner John Murphy (pictured right) said it was amazing how the two Norwich City players connected, describing last night's set up and goal by the pair as "absolutely sensational."

  5. High performance cars roll off the production line

    Two of the most "extreme" Lotus models ever made have driven off the production line at the company's Hethel factory.

    The Lotus 3-Eleven, finished in matt and gloss black, and the Lotus Elise Cup 250, in red, represent the latest generation of Lotus sports cars, the company says.

    With a maximum speed of 180 mph (290 km/h), the 3-Eleven goes from from 0-60mph in 2.9 seconds.   Trailing not far behind is the Elise Cup, boasting a top speed of 154 mph (248 km/h), reaching 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds.

    Jean-Marc Gales, head of Group Lotus plc, says the company has "raised the bar yet again".

  6. Weather: Further thunderstorms with locally heavy rain

    This evening will see further thunderstorms, some heavy rain and lightning. There's also a risk of localised flooding. These will clear out to sea leaving mostly dry conditions by the end of the night and lows of 15C (59F)

    Tomorrow will be a dry day with some early sunshine. Turning a little cloudy later  A fresher Atlantic air mass brings a fresher feel to the weather without the humidity of Thursday.

    Heavy rainfall across East Anglia caused severe disruption to rail passengers travelling on the main line in and out of London today.

  8. Trains latest: Floodiing disruption now expected until midnight

    Abellio Greater Anglia says disruption is expected to last until midnight.

    There will be one train an hour on most routes going in and out of London. 

  9. Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital following collision

    Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision on the A17 at Terrington St Clement yesterday, involving two vehicles.

    Emergency services were called to the junction with Station Road where a blue Toyota Auris had collided with a blue Yamaha R6 motorcycle, leaving the motorcyclist with multiple injuries.  

    The rider, a man in his 20s, was airlifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, by a Magpas helicopter crew.

    The road was closed until 20:00.

  10. Inquest into Broads cruiser deaths

    An inquest into the deaths of two people found dead in a Broads cruiser has been opened and adjourned. 

    The bodies of Tina Leticia Wilkins, 51, and Alan Frost, 64, along with the body of their dog, were discovered on the boat moored on the River Bure in Wroxham Broad on 9 June.

    Post-mortem examinations reveal that Mr Frost, a carpenter, and Ms Wilkins died through carbon monoxide poisoning. The couple came from Grays in Essex. 

    The hearing has been adjourned until 30 November at Norfolk Coroners Court. 

  11. Watch: Tunisian terror attack survivor speaks out

    A King's Lynn woman says she'll never forget the moment a Tunisian beach holiday turned into a nightmare when a gunman opened fire killing 30 UK tourists.

    Angela Evans was holidaying with a friend in the resort of Sousse when the attack took place. She was forced to "play dead in the sand" to survive.

    Twelve months on she has told BBC Look East she is still haunted by the memories of the massacre and will never forget the sounds or the terror.

  12. Sam Alger: Inspection of Spanish club found "everything to be in order" claims Elrow

    The Elrow dance event has said their thoughts are with the family of Sam Alger, from Norfolk, whose body was found near the Spanish club on Tuesday.

    Mr Alger, 25, had attended the club night on the outskirts of Barcelona on Sunday. 

    A spokeswoman for Elrow told the BBC: "We are very sad with what occurred to Sam Alger and that our thoughts are with his family.

    "The police and local authorities came to do an inspection at the club in the evening of Sunday and found everything to be in order including safety, capacity, health, etc."

    In response to accusations on social media there was "chaos" on leaving the venue the spokeswoman added: "There was a public transport strike and we called the police to help solve the taxi situation, we doubled up our private buses services and called all the taxis at the airport."

    Sorry to bring you some bad news on the weather front... but we've more, a lot more, of the wet stuff on the way before the end of the afternoon.

    The Met Office has issued an amber warning of rain for the East of England until 23:00.

  14. Rail company apologises for disruption

    Abellio Greater Anglia has apologised for the disruption affecting services between Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex into London today.

    In a statement, a spokesperson says this disruption is due to "extensive flooding, caused by heavy rain, which has necessitated the closure of the lines between Ilford and Stratford."

    Network Rail engineers are working to clear the lines as quickly as possible and passengers are encouraged to use alternative routes or delay their journeys where practical.

    The train company says it's working with Network Rail to restore the normal service as soon as possible and passengers affected by the disruption may be entitled to compensation.  

  15. Prince Charles and Camilla to attend Royal Norfolk Show

    Organisers of the Royal Norfolk Show say it's a coup to be welcoming the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall to this year's event. 

    They'll be at the showground on the opening day next Wednesday and security will be stepped up to make sure the visit runs smoothly.

    We'll have updates from the showground throughout the two day event.

  16. Rail delays may not be solved until 16:00

    Disruption to train services running through Manor Park, which was flooded earlier this morning, may now not be resolved until at least 16:00 according to Abellio Greater Anglia.

    A short while ago the train company said all services on the Norwich to London line, which runs through Ipswich and Colchester, are terminating at Shenfield/Ilford.

  17. Tunisian terror attack survivor: Gunman stood feet away

    Angela Evans says she's still haunted by the noise of gunshots, a year after she survived when a gunman opened fire on a crowded Tunisian beach last June, killing 30 UK tourists.

    In an interview with BBC Look East Ms Evans described how the terrorist reloaded his gun just feet away from her, the discarded magazine landing by her hip.  

    "He just stood there with this huge gun... moving around all the people, shooting them, just killing, murdering... then his feet were at the side of me," she said.

    Ms Evans, who lives in west Norfolk, was holidaying in Sousse with a friend when the attack happened. She was forced to "play dead" to save her life.  One year on, she still jumps at any loud bang.

  18. Tunisian terror attack survivor speaks of impact on her life

    Twelve months after a gunman opened fire on a Tunisian beach, killing 30 UK tourists, a Norfolk woman who played dead in order to survive has spoken of the affect it's had on her life.

    Angela Evans, who was holiday in Sousse with a friend, has had hours of counselling and says the past year has been a journey of emotions.

    The so-called Islamic state claimed responsibility for the terror attack.

    Speaking to BBC Look East reporter Debbie Tubby, Ms Evans says despite her own difficulties coming to terms with what happened, every day she thinks about the "poor people who were shot..."
