  2. What did Adele have to say about headlining Glasto?

Adele made Jo Whiley's day by paying us a visit to come and have a pre-gig chat about her momentous headline slot on the Pyramid Stage.

The singer has been coming to the festival since she was seven - and recalls watching Garbage perform.

She's only played once at Glasto before - in the Guardian tent back in 2007, and tells Jo about how she used to have to "blag a tent".

Quote Message: I came last year to semi-scope it out... I watched Kayne's set with Emily [Eavis] and I was so frightened just watching his set... I think Glasto's going to be a big part of my kid's life... so I want him to see me do it.
Quote Message: I love arenas because there's so many people to talk to... I wanna chat to them, I wanna know what their favourite colour is! I wanna go in there... If they get wet, I'll get wet. from Adele

  4. The evening continues on the Park Stage with a tribute to David Bowie

Phillip Glass' Heroes Symphony are closing our night of live music here on the Glastonbury website.

The performance was inspired by David Bowie’s historic album conducted by Charles Hazlewood with Army of Generals and members of the British Paraorchestra.

The performance is set to be a spectacular tribute and celebration of the life of David Bowie.

Adele's just finished her incredible first-ever headline set at Glasto. She told her thousands of gathered fans about her nerves and her fears, but hopefully she enjoyed it enough to come back.

  9. Guess where Adele was last night!

Turns out she "did the washing up, got a Chinese and watched Muse on the telly".

A girl after our own hearts.
