A farewell to Polar Collective
Richard Haugh
BBC Introducing in Suffolk
If you weren't aware of Polar Collective's music, this is a good place to start:
The video shows that Adam, Ally, Gryphen and Jake were always up for a laugh, and if you saw them live you could guarantee some fun.
They came in to record a session for us last year and I was impressed by both their talent and their determination to work hard at what they loved doing.
They also led the way in putting fans at the centre of what they were doing, and this can be seen in the video for You Make Me Feel. I think this had the potential to be a breakout single for them, but the pop world is brutal and extremely difficult to break into.
The reaction has been mixed on social media, and the always-reliable-for-a-laugh website Suffolk Gazette couldn't resist weighing in with its own take...
"Brand experts say the idea is clever because Greater Anglia and Norwich share the spotlight as being the two most despised and ridiculed outfits to travel out of Norfolk," it writes.

Polar Collective call it a day
Richard Haugh
BBC Introducing in Suffolk
There will be lots of sad music fans around Ipswich and further afield today: Polar Collective have announced they are calling it a day.
In a message on their Facebook page, the band said: "We have always said that if there was ever a time where we started to lose our hunger and energy to put our hearts and souls into this, then that was when we would review our situation.
Polar CollectiveCopyright: Polar Collective
"As a result of this, we have all made the difficult decision to call time on Polar Collective. It’s one of the toughest decisions we have ever had to make, especially after having enjoyed some incredible moments together, starting and ending as best mates."
The band had built one of the strongest followings locally and were energetic performers, and nice guys to boot.
They say they'll release an album before they say their goodbyes, and perform a final gig at Cult Cafe in Ipswich on 23 September.

Ali Qazimaj: A recap of today's events
Ali Qazimaj will next appear at court on Friday, 19 August.
Here's a recap of what's happened today:
Mr Qazimaj, who had not been present in the magistrates' court when the case began because there was not an interpreter present, was charged with the murder of Peter and Sylvia Stuart.
He asked to be addressed as Vital Dapi, but was charged in the name of Ali Qazimaj.
The case was moved to Ipswich Crown Court, where he denied being Ali Qazimaj, saying his name was Vital Dapi. He's been remanded in custody for 28 days.

Stephen Harris, defending, said the lack of an interpreter had caused concern for his client.
He added that it was a "grave case" and an interpreter should be present.

Your views: Leave the swans alone on Needham Lake
We brought you news yesterday of calls for a swan to be removed from Needham Lake, because it's been causing damage to model boats and also drowning a gosling and attacking other animals.
We've received several emails on the subject, and they're all on the side of the swan:
Rachel in Eye writes: "How about we respect the fact that the swan is protecting its family? He doesn't need to be moved on, people need to move somewhere else to sail their boats."
John and Patricia Horne says: "Remove the boats, the swans live there and should be allowed to live in peace with their families. The boats should be removed, permanently."
Mark writes: "Leave him where he is and tell the boat club to find another lake, he is only protecting his mate and young."
