Original Sugababes to reunite, again

Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan - the original Sugababes line-up - are set to release a comeback album next year, the NME is reporting.
Siobhan Donaghy, told Wandsworth Radio at London Pride festival:
Quote Message: Sugababes have got a record coming out next year. I can’t tell you the exact date. I know, but I can’t tell you. It’s next year. from Siobhan Donaghy
Sugababes have got a record coming out next year. I can’t tell you the exact date. I know, but I can’t tell you. It’s next year.
The original Sugababes line-up first reformed back in 2012, under the name Mutya Keisha Siobhan. They released 2013's Flatline, but their comeback then stalled.
The original line-up released the album One Touch in 2000, featuring the singles Overload and Run For Cover, before Siobhan quit. Siobhan was then replaced by Heidi Range before Mutya left in 2005, replaced by Amelle Berrabah. Keisha, the only surviving original member, left in 2009 to be replaced by Jade Ewen.
Last time round, the trio were trying to reclaim the original Sugababes name. Whether they have been successful, we will soon find out.
Lynryd Skynryd biopic to be written by drummer
Deadline Hollywood
BBCCopyright: BBC
A biopic of American country-rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd is in the works with a script that has been written by the band’s drummer Artimus Pyle. The film is apparently named Free Bird after the band’s biggest hit and will centre around the 1977 plane crash which killed their singer Ronnie Van Zant and guitarist Steve Gaines.Pyle co-wrote the script with the film’s director Jared Cohn.
However, as the film is not an official biopic, there is the pesky little matter of music rights to sort through, which means original songs by Lynyrd won't be used. Instead, it will feature music written by Pyle.
However, there's been concern over the assistance festival goers have been offered as they try to depart from the site. Glastonbury's Twitter pointed out the following:
Glastonbury have reiterated that any tractors charging people were not official, asking people to tweet @glastoinfo if they have any problems.
Festival founder Michael Eavis has described this year's Glastonbury as the muddiest festival ever.
"I've never seen mud like it in my whole life," he said. "This is worse than 1997. In my 46 years, it hasn't been as bad as this. "Every single bit of woodchip in the South of England, all of it is here over 1,000 acres."
Rihanna has given fans a little tease of her upcoming song Sledgehammer, taken from the third instalment in the rebooted Star Trek franchise.
According to The Verge, the song could have been written two years ago as the singer tweeted the lyrics "you're just another brick and I'm a sledgehammer" back in 2014.
Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Roots, Erykah Badu and Sheila E were among the stars who performed tributes to Prince at the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards in Los Angeles at the weekend.
Grey's Anatomy actor Jesse Williams received a standing ovation as he accepted the humanitarian award.

Rapper 50 cent has been fined for swearing during a performance in the Caribbean on Saturday.
The offence happened while he was performing P.I.M.P on the island of St Kitts.
He and a member of his entourage were arrested following the concert.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force released the following statement:
"Curtis Jackson (50 Cent) an American rap artist who performed at the St. Kitts Music Festival was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of making use of indecent language during his performance on Saturday night (June 25).
"Jackson was granted bail in the amount of $5,000.00 EC (£1,380) and was ordered to surrender his travel documents and appear in court on Monday, (June 27)."
“Mr. Jackson was only booked to host the show,” explained his spokeswoman, Amanda Ruisi.
“When he arrived at the festival, organisers asked him to perform, he obliged, and used the DJ they had there. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the clean version to his tracks, so there were profanities used during his performance."
Apparently Fiddy has already paid a fine and is on his way home.

The grainy, dimly-lit video features eerily lifelike wax models of celebs including Rihanna, Chris Brown, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, presidential candidate Donald Trump, Bill Cosby, Caitlyn Jenner and Taylor Swift - all nude - all sleeping under the same white bedcovers.
Kanye premiered the video at a ticketed event on Friday in New York.
"It’s not in support or anti any of [the people in the video],” West told Vanity Fair. “It’s a comment on fame.”"
In a tweet, which has since been deleted, Kanye asked someone to sue him.

Few reactions from those involved yet. Taylor Swift, who has pride of place next to Kanye, is reported to be furious, having already expressed disdain for the lyrics which suggest she and Kanye "still might have sex" because he made her famous.
While a spokesman for former US president George W Bush apparently told TMZ: "In case there was any doubt ... that is not President Bush."
"He [W] is in much better shape."
The video is available to the subscribers to the Tidal streaming service.
Prince and Bowie tributes dominate Glastonbury

Following their deaths earlier this year, tributes to music icons Prince and David Bowie permeated Glastonbury.
The Pyramid Stage got a lightning-strike makeover and a sculpture of a hand holding a purple crown appeared at the Park Stage.

Of course, there were some terrific musical tributes too...
Drake continued his chart reign this week, smashing records both sides of the Atlantic this week.
In the US, his album Views spent an eighth consecutive week at number one on the Billboard 200 album chart.
It becomes one of only four hip-hop albums to spend at least eight weeks at number one.
The other artists are Eminem, Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer.
Meanwhile in the UK, his single One Dance secured an 11th week atop the singles chart, becoming the market's longest-running number one single of the UK's digital era.
Prince's guitar and a lock of Bowie's hair fetch $150,000 at US auction
An electric guitar owned by Prince and a lock of David Bowie's hair have sold at auction in the US for a total of more than $150,000 (£110,000).
The Yellow Cloud guitar, said to be one of Prince's favourites, was bought for $137,500 (£103,245) by the owner of the American Football team Indianapolis Colts.
It was built in the late 1980s by Knut-Koupee Enterprises of Minneapolis and used in numerous concerts until the mid-1990s.

Bowie's hair, which sold for $18,750 (£14,078) came from a former employee of Madame Tussauds in London who had used it to recreate the music icon's 1983 hairdo.

How did Coldplay become Glastonbury's go-to headliner act?
Getty ImagesCopyright: Getty Images
Even the most cynical of music critics with the hardest of hearts would have to agree, Coldplay know how to headline a music festival.
And in Glastonbury, it's a festival they have headlined no fewer than four times.
But how did they go from playing what was then the new bands stage to becoming the definitive Glastonband?
Parliament keyboardist Bernie Worrell dies aged 72

'Wizard of Woo' Bernie Worrell, whose keyboard helped shaped the sound of 70s funk bands Parliament and Funkadelic has died of cancer at the age of 72.
Worrell, who announced earlier this year that he had stage-four lung cancer, died on Friday at his home in Everson, Washington, according to his wife, Judie Worrell.
With a core group featuring singer George Clinton, Worrell, guitarist Eddie Hazel and bassist Bootsy Collins, the P-Funk catalogue includes the classics Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof off the Sucker) and One Nation Under a Groove.
Worrell was among the first musicians to use a Moog synthesizer,.
He also contributed to albums by Keith Richards, Yoko Ono and, in 2015, was a member of Meryl Streep's backing group in the movie Ricki and the Flash.
In 1997, he and the band were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Clinton called his death "a huge loss," adding, "The world of music will never be the same."
With the results of the Brexit vote still top of everyone's news agenda, Glastonbury was no exception with musicians trying to get to grips with how the UK's vote to leave the EU would impact on them.
"We're lucky enough as a touring band to get to go every weekend to play two or three festivals in different European countries and it's so easy," said Dan from Bastille.
"We can get on a ferry and go there, and it's something we've totally taken for granted. But now I imagine there'll be loads and loads of red tape to get through."
However, Paul Heaton countered: "I think we'll still have a positive relationship with Europe. I'm old enough to remember how it was before [integration] and the British passport has always been looked on as something that's fairly easy to get in and out of countries with."
Chris Martin calls Glastonbury Coldplay's "spiritual home" so it's no surprise they were picked to headline, for their fourth time, to close the Pyramid stage at this year's event.
In a set which included classics like Yellow, Clocks and Fix You, Bee Gee Barry Gibb joined the band for two covers: To Love Somebody and what Chris Martin called "the greatest song of all time", Stayin' Alive.
Gibb was meant to play Glastonbury's "legend" slot this year, but pulled out when a family member fell ill.
"This is our favourite place in the world!" declared Martin as he played the opening chords to Yellow.
The band also paid an emotional tribute to Viola Beach, the UK band who were killed in a car crash in Sweden earlier this year.
