Any isolated showers will soon die away to leave a generally dry night with clear spells. It will be a fresher night than of late, with temperatures perhaps dipping to single figures in places. Lows of 9°C (48°F).

Tomorrow will start fine with some sunshine, and although cloud amounts should gradually increase.

Wantage MP Ed Vaizey has unveiled the government's Digital Economy Bill, which he says is "part of our ambition to become world's most digital nation".

The digital economy minister says the Bill aims to ensure: 

• Everyone has the right to fast broadband
• Automatic compensation for consumers when telecoms suppliers don’t deliver as promised
• Tougher penalties for nuisance callers

The leader of Oxfordshire's Green Party is one of six candidates named today for the party's top job.

Teachers in Oxford have marched through the city today during a one-day strike over cuts to budgets, pay and workloads - as well as wider concerns about the direction of education policy.

But education secretary Nicky Morgan criticised the strike, saying it would "harm children's education", inconvenience parents and "damage the profession's reputation in the eyes of the public".

Police released CCTV footage from outside the Joyce's home showing the treatment Nicholas Iliff suffered at their hands.

Three people from a travellers' site in Oxford have been found guilty of making a man carry out forced or compulsory labour.

Christopher Joyce, 81, and his daughters Mary Joyce, 60, and Helen Collins, 45, all of Redbridge Hollow, Old Abingdon Road, were convicted after a trial at Oxford Crown Court.

The charge related to Nicholas Iliff, who lived with them since the 1980s.

Previously they were all convicted of a conspiracy to defraud him of his benefits.

Hospital staff in Oxford will continue to be recruited from the European Union despite the EU referendum.

Oxford University Hospitals Trust says it's recruiting another 70 nurses from Spain.

It has moved to reassure staff and patients about "our ability to recruit and retain staff".

Henry Williams also known as Henry Butler, aged 24, failed to attend approved accommodation on his release from prison and has not been sighted since.

Williams was last seen on Tuesday 7 June in Banbury.

The charity Cancer Research UK is today launching a campaign against junk food TV ads.

It says the rise in childhood obesity is a huge concern and a growing epidemic, and it's "clear the restrictions already in place during children’s TV shows aren’t enough".

Hart Street in the town has been cordoned off by police as the fire service tackles blaze reportedly in a restaurant.
