Roundhay Park set to host gig again after ten years
The last time that Roundhay Park hosted a big music event was back in 2006 on Robbie Williams' "Close Encounters" tour.
But in September, the 700-acre site is set to play host to indie legends James and Primal Scream this September.

Tickets for "OnRoundhay" have gone on sale today, and the one-day festival is a sister event to OnBlackheath in London.
Previous gigs at the park include the Rolling Stones, Madonna, Michael Jackson, U2 and Radio One's Big weekend (pictured below).

Leeds boxer moved wedding in attempt to arrange Lee Selby fight
In May, Selby said Warrington was "running scared" after negotiations for a summer bout broke down.

Fire at the Drummond Mill site in Bradford

I've been on the scene of the fire in Bradford, It's on the site of the Lumb lane mill that was demolished after the huge fire earlier this year.
It's not as dramatic as the last one but, there's smoke all over Manningham. West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say that there are four pumps there dealing with it at the moment.

I've just spoken to the police, they tell me that there is a fire at a mill on Lumb Lane.
The plume you can see here is close to the site of the recent Dummond Mill fire.

We're getting reports of a fire in the Lumb Lane area of Bradford, we'll bring you updates as we get them.
Here are the latest pictures we have, thanks to Paul Marshall for the footage.
Almost 2,000 homes and more than 1,000 businesses in the area were affected by flooding over Christmas last year.
The new scheme is in addition to almost £10m awarded from central government to support flood recovery in the area.
Happy Valley trail so popular 'guides have had to be reprinted'
Calderdale Council has tweeted that its guides for tourists wanting to take in the locations used in the hit BBC TV programme Happy Valley are so popular, they've had to reprint them!

Project reveals fascinating pictures of our parks from a bygone era
I don't know about you, but I really like using my local park. The University of Leeds has just launched a project asking the public to share their pictures of their parks.
They want to find out what they mean to us in the 21st Century, as many of them were founded in the 19th Century. You can take part in their survey here.
The really interesting thing is they've released a lot of archive pictures of our parks in Leeds; here's Horsforth Hall Park in the 1950s...

Kevin Thornton died after the motorcycle he was riding was in collision with a grey Ford Focus.
Before the crash there had been reports of two motorcycles being ridden in an "anti-social manner" in the South Elmsall and South Kirby areas. It is believed that these could be the motorcycles involved in the collision.
A 17 year old male was arrested and released on police bail.

A £3m fund to invest in flood prevention and resilience schemes in Calderdale has been approved by councillors.

BreakingMan gets 22 years for sex worker murder
A man has been sentenced to 22 years in jail for the murder of a Polish sex worker.
Lewis Pierre, 24, of Meanwood, Leeds, had admitted manslaughter and robbery but denied murder.
Daria Pionko, 21, was found seriously injured in Springwell Road, Holbeck, Leeds on 23 December 2015 and died later in hospital.
Pierre was found guilty by a jury at Leeds Crown Court yesterday.

Ismail Miah, 22, of Springfield Place and Muhammed Sikder, 27, of Sylhet Close, both of Bradford, appeared at the city's Magistrates' Court earlier.
They are next due to appear at Bradford Crown Court on 2 August.
