Van Dijk transfer fee is irrelevant – Danny Mills

Danny Mills says Liverpool are being wrongfully criticised for the fee they paid Southampton for defender Virgil van Dijk.

The Dutch international will join the Merseyside club when the transfer window reopens on 1 January in a world record £75m deal.

Former England defender Mills feels the price tag is "irrelevant" because Van Dijk will make Liverpool a better team.
