  1. Bye for now

    FT: France 13-15 Ireland

Right, that is quite enough drama.

You can read the report from Paris, complete with highlight, or catch up on Cardiff over here.

See you tomorrow for England's opener in Rome.

  2. Post update

    FT: France 13-15 Ireland

    Andy Burke

    BBC Sport Scotland

41 phases Ireland put together before that magnificent Sexton drop-goal. Probably more than Scotland managed in 80mins against Wales!

  4. Post update

    France 13-15 Ireland

    Tom English

    Chief sports writer, BBC Scotland

What an endgame in Paris. Nerves of steel from Ireland.

  5. From way downtown....

    FT: France 13-15 Ireland

    Here it is again.

Johnny Sexton catches it as clean as a whistle to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

    What drama...

  6. Thomas' try comes to nothing

    FT: France 13-15 Ireland

France scored the only try of the game, but in the end it counted for nothing.

Teddy Thomas' second-half score looked to have won it for the hosts, but it was cancelled out by a moment of magic from one Johnny Sexton.

  7. Re-run the fun

    FT: France 13-15 Ireland

Let's relive that that roller-coaster, twisting, turning final 10 minutes.

First, France's sucker-punch that seemed to be a knockout...

  9. Post update

    France 13-15 Ireland

One thing that today reminded us was how hard it is to win on the road in the Six Nations.

In last year's tournament, if you exclude Wooden Spooners Italy, England's victory over Wales was the only time an away team won.

  10. Post update

    France 13-15 Ireland

    Paul O'Connell

Former Ireland captain on BBC Two

In some ways it's better for Ireland to come through with a victory like this.

It'll do wonders for their self-belief.

  11. 'Ireland are too predictable'

    FT: France 13-15 Ireland

    Jeremy Guscott

Former Lions and England centre on BBC One

It was a miracle kick, but they need to do more as they are predictable. They are going to struggle if they don't move on.

Paul Hawkins: Final seconds, pouring down, shades of Jonny Wilkinson in the world cup final. Amazing drop goal from another Johnny.

Rachel McCann: Get in! What a finish...

Deccy B: Surely, no matter what happens the rest of the tournament, nothing will top the moment Sexton sealed victory in Paris!

  13. 'All our goals would've crumbled if we'd lost'

    France 13-15 Ireland

    Ireland beat France

Ireland's Johnny Sexton on BBC One:

"All our goals would've crumbled if we'd lost.

"To be honest, my mind was going back to a couple of years ago in a game against Treviso, in almost an identical situation.

"I don't think we could've gone on another couple phases, but we got there in the end.

"It says a lot about the management and that we've got some good characters in the team because it looked like it might be deja vu. This year we had a chance and we took it thankfully."

  14. 'Ireland got out of jail'

    FT: France 13-15 Ireland

    Rob Kearney

Ireland full-back Rob Kearney, speaking on BBC One: "It is quite incredible, we probably got out of jail a bit. It is massive for Johnny Sexton, he puts a huge amount of work in. He would have been feeling bad about the missed penalty.

"France have had a poor year, but when you play them here you know they are going to be special."

Daniel Chapman: What a tale of two very different matches.

  17. Ice at the double from Sexton

    FT: France 13-15 Ireland

    Johnny Sexton

There were two titanium-nerved moments from Johnny Sexton in that final long-range drive for the France line remember.

Before the drop-goal, but with the clock in the red, he had the belief and trust in his skills to put a cross-field kick across to Keith Earls.

A clutch player for the crunch moments.

  18. Sexton to the rescue

    FT: France 13-15 Ireland

One failed drop-goal in the first half from Johnny Sexton, but his second sailed through the sticks.

    IT WAS HUGE.
