Watching highlights of Manchester United's victory over Bournemouth on Match of the Day.

Mike Dean really needs a shave.

  3. 'It was a comfortable evening'

    FT: Chelsea 3-0 Watford

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard on Sky Sports: "Clean sheet at home and three goals. we played some nice stuff. It's difficult against the low block sometimes and the way we broke it down was good.

"We could have been better in the second half with our passes but we defended the set-pieces really well. It was a comfortable evening for us.

"When you have two players in those advanced midfield positions against Watford, you have to get players behind their midfield.

"Mason Mount's pass is wrapped through the front line [in build-up to first goal]. I like working with that position because it's where I played and it's important we have quality in that area to unlock the door."

  4. 'Time is not on our side'

    FT: Chelsea 3-0 Watford

    Watford

Watford manager Nigel Pearson told Sky Sports: "I thought we played with discipline. I just said to the players, sometimes it's hard when you have got players who would normally contribute in a different way, that are having to work hard for the team to make it difficult for opponents. Of course, we would like to spend more time on the ball but we played against a good side, who we knew would respond after their last game.

"To concede in the first half was painful because we showed the qualities that were missing last week. It is important for us to now to recognise what is the best chance we have of winning games, and it's the work ethic we showed tonight. We are having to play our way back into nick.

"Time is not on our side but we have to be brave enough and want the ball. It wasn't our night and we conceded at times when it takes courage to come back into the game. The second half performance was one we can build on."

  5. Post update

"Today there was a bit of pressure to get back to fourth and we produced," he adds.

Doesn't want to get drawn on comparisons between Eden Hazard and Christian Pulisic though, but he does try really hard not to smile...

  6. Post update

  8. Today's round-up

If you missed any of the action earlier, here's a round-up of the best bits on the site.

Arsenal's Bukayo Saka said he has had a "week I will remember my whole life" after he celebrated signing a new long-term contract by scoring the opener in the Gunners' victory at Wolves.

Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers said it is "a privilege" to work with Jamie Vardy after the striker's "phenomenal achievement" of reaching 100 Premier League goals in the win over Crystal Palace.

Mason Greenwood scored twice in the Premier League for the first time as Manchester United came from behind to beat Bournemouth 5-2 and increase the Cherries' relegation worries.

And Robert Lewandowski passed 50 goals for the season as Bayern Munich beat Bayer Leverkusen to win a record 20th German Cup and 13th domestic double.

  11. 'We needed that'

    FT: Chelsea 3-0 Watford

    Chelsea

Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic told Sky Sports: "We needed that one today. We came out with a lot of energy and we needed a huge result, especially after dropping points in the last game. There was a bit of extra energy because of that loss and we wanted to prove a point."

On winning Willian's penalty: "I got fouled for the second one as well and I thought it might be overturned but it is what it is. I feel confident in my game right now and I feel like I can help the team."

On comparisons with Eden Hazard: "Eden was an incredible player for Chelsea and he is word class. I'm not trying to compare to him, I'm just trying to be my own player."

On the race for fourth: "It's going to be close and come down to the end. We are excited and confident we can do it."

On USA independence day: "If I was home in the US, I would've been having a BBQ with my family."

Ben: Really needed those 3 points! Zouma and James looked comfortable as well which was a plus

Kevin: Watford are dreadful. Completely toothless. Pearson magic has worn off. Relegation fodder now

  14. Post update

Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount says he is surprised he got the Man of the Match award.

"Ross Barkley got a goal and an assist, didn't he?"

The interviewer tells him the award was given before Barkley scored in the 91st minute. Unlucky.

  15. Post update

    FT: Chelsea 3-0 Watford

"We knew we needed a big result and we came out with a lot of energy," says Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic.

He also says it was a 'response performance' from the defeat at West Ham on Wednesday.

  16. Post update

    FT: Chelsea 3-0 Watford

Here are those fixtures coming up I mentioned earlier for Watford. West Ham are two points and one place above them in the table.

Newcastle are comfortable in 12th. And of course, Norwich are all but down in bottom place and seven points behind.

Six points from those three games would surely be enough for Watford before entertaining Manchester City and Arsenal?

  17. Post update

    FT: Chelsea 3-0 Watford

Ross Barkley ended a run of 34 Premier League appearances without a goal, since he netted in Chelsea's 4-0 win at Burnley on 28 October, 2018.

Deldude: One thing on Ross Barkley’s mind with that wonderful arrow was to rip the net off.

JS: It seems 3 months away has allowed Lampard to conclude that Jorginho has no place in this team moving forward.

  20. Post update
