There it is! It's gold. There will be no close shave in this ski jumping final. Norway are the Olympic champions.

What a team they have been. It's been a stunning final.

It's long, it's clean, it's surely enough for Norway! Gold for Robert Johansson, gold for the team. Now they are going to be champions of the team event for the first time in their history.

    Men's two-man bobsleigh

    Nick Hope

    BBC Sport in Pyeongchang

    GB

GB bobsleigh pilot Brad Hall admits it was a “tough” night as “inconsistencies” cost him and Joel Fearon from building on the seventh position they held in the two-man event heading into the final two runs.

The pair finished in 12th, 1.43 seconds off the medals, but believe better is to come in the four-man event at the weekend.

“12th is better than anything I’ve achieved at a World Cup so that has to be a positive,” Hall tells me.

Fearon adds; “I’m so proud of what Brad has achieved in a short space of time and tonight was a bit of an anticlimax after yesterday but we’ll have the power of two more guys in the four-man and we think it’ll be exciting - SO TUNE IN!”

John Westwood: Another edgy game! GB 8-7 Switzerland. Well done Team GB!

Kirstenb: Curling is my new favourite sport to watch!

Daniel Gosbee: Every single match recently has been close, nail-biting, yet thrilling. Curling once again captivating. Big matches still come, really exciting stuff.

  12. WHAT DRAMA - WHAT A MOMENT!

    Men's two-man bobsleigh

    Nick Hope

    BBC Sport in Pyeongchang

    Bobsleigh

I was standing with the Canadian fans for the final run and with Justin Kripps leading heading into the finish they were going crazy!

Those celebrations stopped dead for a moment as the time did not go ‘green’ on the TV monitors, meaning they thought he’d lost it.

Moments later that all erupted again, as did the Germans once they realised the gold was to be shared with Francesco Friedrich.

Both crews then climbed onto the ice to embrace one another.

Amazing drama and there’ll be more to come with the women’s event starting tomorrow and the men’s four-man at the weekend!

  13. Ski Jumping

    Men's team

Eight jumps left, one man per team. It's looking good for another Norwegian gold and they have the man with the tache still to come...

    Robert Johansson

    Just LOOK AT IT...

  14. Ski Jumping

    Men's team

Poland close, nothing in it between them and Germany. Norway keep the lead though! A fairly big lead too.

  15. Ski Jumping

    Men's team

Noriaki Kasai puts Japan into second with a massive leap of 125m. That's the height of the great pyramid in Egypt.

    MASSIVE.

  16. 'Life is just a game of inches...'

Eve Muirhead channelling Al Pacino there. No bad thing,

    Al Pacino
  17. 'We stepped up a gear'

    Curling: GB 8-7 Switzerland

British skip Eve Muirhead speaking to BBC TV: "It was a tough game. Both teams played really well. It was a game of inches. We stepped up a gear from yesterday and we want to take this into tomorrow."

Lauren Gray: "We knew we pretty much needed to win this game and every one from here on. It was a tight game so we're very happy to have won."

Vicki Adams: "We have worked a lot on how to compose ourselves and concentrate on one stone at a time and we showed that today."

Anna Sloan: "We have taken every game here down to the wire and that is what we are expecting from our next few games.

"We will go back, reflect and relax and come back fighting again tomorrow."
