  1. Tune in to Match of the Day

Match of the Day has just started now on BBC One and you can also watch online and via BBC iPlayer.

That's it from us, see you later.

  2. 'West Ham can compete at the top'

    Rob Green

Former West Ham and England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

He's been given another chance in the Premier League and will back himself to be a success and it's not been the case. West Ham can compete at the top of the Premier League. You look at Leicester and think about 'why not West Ham?'. Is it the manager? Is it the structure?. Why can't they punch above their weight?

  3. A first since February - the stats

    Burnley 0-2 Man Utd

    • Manchester United are unbeaten in their last 10 Premier League games against Burnley (W6 D4), their only loss coming in their first meeting in August 2009.
    • Burnley have won just one of their last 29 Premier League games against “big six” opponents (D6 L22). The Clarets are without in their last 10, losing each of the last eight.

    • Burnley are without a Premier League clean sheet against “big six” opposition in each of their last 38 matches, last stopping their opponents from scoring in October 2016, a 0-0 against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
    • Manchester United are one of just three sides that Sean Dyche has failed to win against in the top-flight alongside Arsenal (9) and Sheffield United (1). The Burnley manager has drawn four and lost five against the Red Devils.

    • Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has been directly involved in 10 goals in his 13 Premier League starts this season.
  4. 'Moyes would have something to prove'

    Rob Green

Former West Ham and England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

It would be an interesting choice to bring David Moyes back but - a bit like Nigel Pearson - he has something to prove. He has had a number of positions where it didn't go so well. He might come into it with a new found resolution, or a new lease of life. Maybe it will be a short-term appointment to the end of the season where if he does keep them up you say: 'Here's a big bonus and see you later'. I am sure if you say to the West Ham fans we need someone to see us through to keep us in the division, it's a tough call. We don't what the owners' thinking is. There's big names out there. Unai Emery is a shout, Rafa Benitez has said he is not coming back from China. There are managers who would love to manage West Ham.

  5. 'It means a lot to get the clean sheet'

    Burnley 0-2 Man Utd

    Manchester United

Manchester United defender Ashley Young, speaking to MOTD: "It is never an easy place to come. This time of the year you just want to get points on the board and get wins. If we play in the way we have shown lately we will get the three points. It would have been nicer to have scored the second goal earlier.

"It means a lot to get the clean sheet. It is not just us defenders. We play as a team and defend as team from the front to the back.

"We knew it would be tough in the second half, they would put long ball to the box. We had to stand up to that. We have a big squad and a lot of games coming up. I am as fit as any one of those boys in there."

  6. Get Involved

    #bbcfootball

Sho Rahman: Brandon Williams absolutely has to start against Arsenal. Magnificent today. Miles better player than Shaw in every aspect.

Henry Ellison: A clean sheet for United! Thought I would never see the day.

Aleksander Pagels: What a job Ole has done. Only seven points behind Man City just after Christmas.

  7. 'I'm pleased with the mentality'

    Burnley 0-2 Man Utd

    Burnley

Burnley boss Sean Dyche, speaking to BT Sport: "It is sometimes the way it is. We played a top side. We worked hard tonight. It was a solid first half, we were in the game and a mistake changed that.

"It is hard to get Manchester United on the back foot but we certainly asked questions of them and certainly used the ball better. We created enough to nick something.

"I am pleased with the mentality tonight. It is hard playing these games but the mentality was good."

  8. 'Important to grind out results too'

    Burnley 0-2 Man Utd

    Manchester United

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, speaking to MOTD: "In the first half I thought we were very good. We controlled it and dominated it. Second half of course there will be a couple more incidents in your box because they are throwing the ball into it but great defending.

"It is a big difference to get a clean sheet. It is important for us to know we can grind out results as well, even though if you score one you don't always win but if we get the clean sheets we have a better chance to move up the table.

"There were so many great counter attacking opportunities. Excellent performance.

"We want to keep the momentum going. Two wins now and good response after the disappointing game against Watford. We have not lost a game straight after we have lost another one so happy with that. Good response from the players, they are learning."

  9. 'We made a couple of mistakes and got punished'

    Burnley 0-2 Man Utd

    Burnley

Burnley boss Sean Dyche, speaking to MOTD: "Performance-wise reasonably pleased. We certainly tried to react to a disappointing mistake. We asked a few questions of them. Just them killer moments in the front third and then the mistake changed the feel of it.

"It is not easy but we trust the players to make decisions and unfortunately they have made a couple of wrong decisions. We took the game on in the second half and I felt we did enough to score a goal but then of course they nicked a goal at the end which can happen. They are still a very strong side, I know they have been up and down this season but you look at the players they have got.

"Chances are a key part of it. When you play the big guns you need everyone performing. I think we got 52 points the last calendar year so overall we are progressing and we are moving forward but it doesn't take away from the disappointment of tonight because we made a couple of mistakes and got punished."

  10. 'Martial was brilliant again'

    Burnley 0-2 Man Utd

    Manchester United

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford, speaking to BT Sport: "We could have been more clinical. Their centre-halves were heading away every single ball that came in and it wasn't easy, but we did well to get the win."

On Anthony Martial: "He was brilliant again today. For a forward, there’s nothing better than scoring goals. Hopefully it keeps his confidence high and this can continue until the end of the season."

  11. 'We've been far too inconsistent'

    Burnley 0-2 Man Utd

    Manchester United

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire, speaking to BT Sport: "We maybe could have been better on the ball in the second half and killed the game off, but it's a big three points for us.

"We’re a team who haven't been conceding many chances, but set-pieces and other basic things have been letting us down. It’s nice to come here, get a clean sheet and get the win.

"On our day we can beat anyone, but we’ve been far too inconsistent this year. We didn’t perform at all at Watford, so it was important to come here, do the basics well and keep the clean sheet."

  12. Top of the table

    .

The table is looking much better for Manchester United as they move up to fifth, ahead of Tottenham.

  13. 'Deserved win for United'

    Burnley 0-2 Man Utd

    Rob Green

Former Chelsea and England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

That was always the danger for Burnley that Manchester Untied would catch them on the break. It was a great ball to Rashford and he actually fell over as he tried to finish. In fact it was actually more a slide tackle than a finish. It was job done for United despite not being at their most fluid. Overall a deserved win for United and Burnley didn't really ask that much of them.

  14. FULL-TIME

    Burnley 0-2 Man Utd

All over and it is a precious away win for Manchester United - their third on the road this season.

  15. GOAL - Burnley 0-2 Man Utd

    Marcus Rashford

    Done and dusted!

Burnley's desperation to snatch a point goes against them as Manchester United attack quickly and, with the home defence high up the pitch, Marcus Rashford is put through on goal and he rounds Nick Pope before finishing.

  16. Post update

    Burnley 0-1 Man Utd

    Goalkeeper in the opposition's box!!

Burnley have a late corner and up goes Nick Pope. There's a bit of head tennis before the ball is eventually cleared away from the Manchester United box and then Fred is booked for foul Pope on halfway.

    Eventful finish to the game!

  17. YELLOW CARD

    Burnley 0-1 Man Utd

Brandon Williams is booked by Mike Dean as he is adjudged to have dived after jumping over a challenge.
