Important Information for Ticket Holders

Can I give my tickets to someone else?

Tickets for the BBC Music’s Biggest Weekend are printed with the lead booker’s name on them; however tickets may be transferred to family and friends, and the lead booker does NOT need to attend the event EXCEPT in the following two cases:
a. For those who applied for tickets from Pot 1 and Pot 2, if the tickets do not arrive in the post and the customer needs to collect replacements, photo ID and proof of address will be required. This is done in order to verify their address and entitlement to local resident tickets.
b. For those who applied for Pot 3 tickets in Swansea, these tickets are paperless and the lead booker needs to attend the event, bringing ID and the card used to make the booking with them. All those in the party need to arrive together.

Do all the people in my group need to turn up at the same time?

Not usually. If you have received your tickets in the post it is perfectly ok to turn up separately from the lead booker. However, those who ordered Pot 3 tickets for Swansea (paperless tickets) and those collecting replacement tickets at any of the venues will need to arrive together.

Do I need to bring ID with me?

You MAY be asked for ID at the entrance to the event in order to verify your age. There is no age restriction to be able to attend the event; however those aged 16 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult aged 18+ in order to attend.
Acceptable forms of ID are a valid passport; valid EU photocard driving licence; a photographic ID card with the National Proof of Age Standards Scheme - PASS - hologram.
Your ID does NOT have to match the name on the ticket.

My friend has given me their ticket, but it has their name on it. Is it OK to use it?

Yes – assuming they haven’t cancelled the ticket for any reason it is perfectly ok to use it.

Here are all the details you'll need to buy tickets. Make sure you read all of the information on this page before proceeding with a booking.

The above link will show the most up-to-date information about current ticket availability.

Please note that the sheer weight of internet traffic can occasionally cause local technical issues outside our control for some users. Unfortunately we are not able to help those who miss out on the chance to obtain tickets as a result of such issues.

Booking by Phone

For those without internet access, tickets are available to purchase over the phone. However we expect lines to be exceptionally busy and strongly advise booking online where possible. The number to call is 08444 539 037. Calls to this number will cost 7p per minute plus your phone company's access charge. These charges may vary and can be significantly higher for mobiles. Calls are expected to last around 5 minutes. Note: online systems are able to handle far more simultaneous transactions than call centres, so you stand a better chance of getting tickets online.

If all operators are busy, a limited number of people will be placed in a queue, with the rest hearing an engaged tone. Call charges will still apply whilst on hold. In times of highest demand, phone operators and / or networks may be unable to connect your call due to line congestion and may play you a recorded message telling you this – again a charge may apply for this.
