  1. Goodbye...

So that's Wales through to the quarter-finals with four wins from four. Warren Gatland's side now have a week to recover before taking on France in the last eight.

But there's no rest for us, as it's straight over to a huge clash between Japan and Scotland to decide who reaches the knockout stages from Pool A.

Hop on over to follow that one here.

    See you there...

  2. 'Looking forward to France'

    FT: Wales 35-13 Uruguay

Here's Wales coach Warren Gatland: "Happy with four from four but not too happy with some of tonight - poor at times and too many turnovers.

"We blew four or five chances but showed a bit of character. They're a tough outfit, tenacious and make tackles, they're a tidy little side.

"We probably didn't respect the ball enough, second half we were more direct and earned the right to play.

"Hopefully everyone will be fit and available for next week. France next week, old rivals, something to really look forward to."

  3. 'Parkes had to play 80'

    FT: Wales 35-13 Uruguay

    Tom Shanklin

Former Wales international on BBC Radio 5 Live

Hadleigh Parkes was one of the players that you wanted to go off but he had to play the full 80 minutes because Wales were so average.

I would have kicked the ball off but the Welsh team probably felt so guilty tat being so poor, and they wanted to finish with a flourish.

  4. Post update

    FT: Wales 35-13 Uruguay

    Chris Ashton

Sale Sharks and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

In his mind (Hallam Amos') sometimes you picture yourself scoring these tries and it's never how it comes out... it's just a disaster.

  5. Post update

    FT: Wales 35-13 Uruguay

    Hallam Amos

Hallam Amos could have had a hat-trick on another day.

Two forward passes and this dropped ball when diving for the corner...

  6. 'A game to forget'

    FT: Wales 35-13 Uruguay

    Tom Shanklin

Former Wales international on BBC Radio 5 Live

Wales tried to throw the ball around but passes were not sticking. Some missed opportunities were clear but it was one of those games that they are just going to have to forget.

They play France next week and they need to wrap everyone up in cotton wool and come out firing.

  7. Attention turns to France...

    Wales 35-13 Uruguay

    Gareth Griffiths

    BBC Sport Wales in Kumamoto

A bonus point win is a bonus point win and Wales top Pool D with a fourth straight victory, but this performance was not very impressive with handling errors and turnovers prevalent and scoring chances wasted.

Wales coach Warren Gatland said there were quarter-final places up for grabs before this match after making 13 changes from the side that defeated Fiji.

Not many players have really enhanced their prospects of forcing their way into the starting side to face France in Oita next Sunday.

Credit Uruguay for an outstanding battling performance. But expect to see the usual starting Wales regulars back next weekend.

Watching centre Hadleigh Parkes having treatment at the end of the game will also be concerning.

Leigh Halfpenny battles to break through
  8. Full-time

    Wales 35-13 Uruguay

    And that's it.

Wales make it four wins from four to top the group and set up a quarter-final against France next Sunday.

  9. Converted try - Wales 35-13 Uruguay

    Gareth Davies (con Leigh Halfpenny)

Superb solo score from the substitute.

Uruguay are penalised on halfway and Gareth Davies seizes the opportunity with a quick tap and go.

He accelerates into the space, throws a side-step to wrong-foot a retreating Uruguay defender and then scores between the sticks.

Leigh Halfpenny jabs over the extra two.

  10. Post update

    Wales 28-13 Uruguay

The throw isn't straight. That's a shame for the South Americans.

Wales take the scrum, and then win a penalty.

Warren Gatland's side look to move it quickly and make good ground, but then it's fumbled and Uruguay set off on a break themselves.

  11. 'Basic errors'

    Wales 28-13 Uruguay

    Tom Shanklin

Former Wales international on BBC Radio 5 Live

Wales have butchered five or six try scoring opportunities. There have been times where they have looked sharp but they have been basic errors all the way through.

  12. Post update

    Wales 28-13 Uruguay

Well, Uruguay get the penalty and that gives Felipe Berchesi a chance to punt into touch and set up a line-out. One last crack before their World Cup's over...

  13. Post update

    Wales 28-13 Uruguay

Ouch. A huge hit on a blue shirt but Uruguay look to keep it alive in the closing moments. We've had the gong, they'll have to run it from their own 22...

  14. 'Incredible'

    Wales 28-13 Uruguay

    Tom Shanklin

Former Wales international on BBC Radio 5 Live

It wasn't a hard finish and he wasn't being tackled. Incredible.

  15. No try

    Wales 28-13 Uruguay

    No chance.

Hallam Amos dropped that over the line from about a metre high, after a spectacular dive towards the whitewash.

  16. Try review

    Wales 28-13 Uruguay

Hallam Amos is in at the corner, but was that another forward pass? And did he ground it? And was he in touch?!

It all came from a superb break by Rhys Carre.

  17. 'Important try'

    Wales 28-13 Uruguay

    Tom Shanklin

Former Wales international on BBC Radio 5 Live

Wales made hard work of that bonus point try, but when they get it right, they look impressive. The space just opens up for Tomos Williams and it's a really important try.

  18. Converted try - Wales 28-13 Uruguay

    Tomos Williams (con Leigh Halfpenny)

    Wales hit back immediately.

Leigh Halfpenny cuts through the Uruguay line and Tomos Williams is quickly up to the breakdown to pick his way through the broken defensive line with a direct and decisive finish.

    Halfpenny adds the extras.

    Tomos Williams
  19. 'Back in this game'

    Wales 21-13 Uruguay

    Tom Shanklin

Former Wales international on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's a nice pick up from German Kessler and he gets really low. He gets right under Ross Moriarty and it's a well-worked try. Uruguay are back in this game.

  20. Converted try - Wales 21-13 Uruguay

    German Kessler (con Felipe Berchesi)

    Brilliant!

Uruguay keep rolling forward and German Kessler seizes his chance.

The mullet-sporting mustachioed Uruguay hooker goes low to hit the whitewash, and fist pumps in delight.

The 14 men of Uruguay hit back.
