Some Liverpool fans in Rome - who still haven't been let out of the ground - have been speaking to BBC Radio 5 live
Josh: "The party is slowly starting to die down now.
My voice is wrecked from singing all night.
"Liverpool have just got to play their football in the final.
We want to play against the best teams in Europe and Real Madrid are exactly
that. We need to get into a rhythm and I’m convinced we can beat anyone on the
planet. I’m fairly sure I’ll be in Kiev on that night."
Neil: "It was a terrific night. It was a matter of
hanging on a bit even though the penalty was late, but the way those young men
celebrated with us after winning the game for Liverpool was brilliant.
"The pinnacle of football should be the hardest night of your
lives and to defend any lead at the Stadio Olimpico is hard to achieve. So
Liverpool can keep making it difficult for themselves because it is difficult
and that’s why it’s worth achieving it. The place to be will be Kiev that night
and I’ll be going.
"No idea how long we will be kept in the ground tonight –

Roma president furious with refereeing
Roma president Jim Pallotta believes it will be an "absolute joke" if the
Video Assistant Referee (VAR) is not introduced into the Champions League.
"It is very clear VAR is needed in the Champions League because you just can't
let stuff like this happen.
"You can all look at it yourself. Stephan El Shaarawy in the 49th minute
wasn't offside and he gets taken down by the goalie; the 63rd minute was a
handball that was obvious to everyone probably in the world except people on the
pitch; the 67th minute Schick gets taken down in the box.
"I know it is difficult to ref but it is really embarrassing that we lose on
aggregate like that.
"By the way, it should have been a red card which would have been 10 men in
the 63rd minute.
"Liverpool are a great team, congratulations going forward, but if they don't
get VAR in the Champions League stuff like this is an absolute joke."
Sadio Mane’s strike was his
ninth in the Champions League in just his 10th appearance – no
player has scored more in their opening 10 games in the competition (level
with Harry Kane and Simone Inzaghi).

“It was the first semi-final for most of the boys so normal to have to keep nerves in. It was a little bit exciting – more exciting than I actually

There is a scenario where fourth place in the Premier League - Tottenham currently - don't qualify for the Champions League next season.
If Liverpool win the Champions League and drop out of the top four (which is still possible - if Chelsea beat them this weekend, the gap is down to three points and the Blues have a game in hand) and Arsenal win the Europa League, then England have reached the maximum of five teams you can have in the competition.
As if Spurs fans needed another reason to want Arsenal to lose to Atletico Madrid tomorrow...
