  1. Klopp expects Firmino to be fit to face Barca

    Liverpool 5-0 Huddersfield

    Liverpool

Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino missed Friday's 5-0 win over Huddersfield with a muscle injury.

But manager Jurgen Klopp thinks the Brazilian will be fit for Wednesday's trip to Barcelona for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Asked about social media rumours Firmino could be out for the rest of the season, Klopp told BBC Sport: "Do not believe 3% of what is on social media! Roberto Firmino is not out for the rest of the season. After training he felt it a little bit and this morning he still felt it. It's a small tear but it's Bobby so I would say it is likely he is fit for Barcelona because he is a machine. It's good we showed we can play without him."

  2. 'Brilliant performance'

    Liverpool 5-0 Huddersfield

    Liverpool

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "It was another brilliant performance. Teams that have been relegated can be dangerous because they have nothing to lose and they go out and play, but we got a great start. We scored some fantastic goals and kept a clean sheet so it was a good night.

"They had a couple of corners and set-plays but we managed to deal with it well and go on to dominate the game. I'm delighted for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. He worked so hard to get back to where he is now and when he came on he looked as if he had never been away. He has been sharp in training and I wish that chance went in for him, but we are all delighted to have him back because he's an important player.

"We are looking forward to the Barcelona trip. It's a tough place to go but we have a great belief in ourselves and we are looking forward to showing what we can do."

  3. 'Outstanding group of players'

    Liverpool 5-0 Huddersfield

    Liverpool

Speaking to BBC Match of the Day, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says: "We are happy with the points we have and now we are focused on the next game. We have a mindset that works and we try to create problems for each opponent by working hard.

"It's obviously an outstanding group of players, who did well against a Huddersfield side who are much better than the result shows. They had proper counter attacks so we needed to be patient and we scored wonderful goals."

  4. 'Over to Manchester City'

    Liverpool 5-0 Huddersfield

    Stephen Warnock

Ex-Liverpool defender on Radio 5 Live

It's been a convincing win for Liverpool. They had moments of quality all over the pitch.

Huddersfield didn't bring much to the game and Liverpool were totally superior. They have done their job and it's over to Manchester City now.

That's all from me...but this title race is far from won!

I'm going to leave you with the best reaction from tonight's game at Anfield.

What an utterly breathtaking title race this is but there can only be one winner.

    Thanks for your company.

  7. 'Salah made a big step this season'

    Liverpool 5-0 Huddersfield

    Liverpool

    More from Jurgen Klopp.

On Mohamed Salah taking the record for the most goals scored (69) by a Liverpool player in his first 100 games for the club: "He looked like he wanted to break that record tonight because after the second goal it was like 'me against the rest of the world'. It is incredible and it is such an important season for him after a flying campaign where every shot was a goal last season.

"He is being really assessed by people to see if it was a one hit and keeping that level is a bigger achievement than scoring 40 goals last season. He made a big step this season. Thankfully all of the others are doing that as well and that is why we are in the situation we are in."

On Roberto Firmino's injury: "Do not believe 3% of what is on social media. I had no argument with Mo Salah after the Chelsea game of all games, and Roberto Firmino is not out for the rest of the season. After training he felt it a little bit and this morning he still felt it. It's a small tear but it's Bobby so I would say it is likely he is fit for Barcelona because he is a machine. It's good we showed we can play without him."
