Reaction: Leinster beat Toulouse to make final

A nice restrained full-time tweet from Leinster. Just the 11 exclamation marks...

Just a reminder that Leinster will face Saracens in the final in Newcastle on 11 May in what should be a VERY tasty encounter. Clear your diaries.

Leinster are still out there. They're in a huddle in the middle of the pitch with Sean O'Brien talking to the players.

Departing Leinster flanker Sean O'Brien, who is moving to London Irish at the end of the season, got a bit emotional on Channel Four:

"It's a tough day for me here. It's the last game in the Aviva probably for me.

"Aspects of it were good. We kind of said during the week about making sure we were in control all the time. We built a lot of pressure and got a few scores.

"Toulouse are very dangerous. They've got quality players so we had to be on our game defensively and we managed it well."

But they don't look overawed.

That one ran out of steam a little bit towards the end so it's a fairly subdued response at the Aviva as the players shake hands.

Ross Byrne shows he's the promising Leinster fly-half of the future though as he darts through the Toulouse defence.

Leinster are through 16 phases and up to Toulouse's 22 as the clock goes red.

Johnny Sexton is named man of the match. Wonder how many times he's received that accolade at the Aviva. Must be a bit boring by now.

Leinster opt to put themselves a bit further out of reach as Ross Byrne takes the points from in front of the posts.

James Lowe gestures for a drink. Give that man some water. He deserves it.

Leinster are ruthless. They batter the Toulouse defence again and again with an advantage on their side. James Lowe dives through but loses the ball forward.

Leinster penalty.

Attendance is 42,960. Slightly better than yesterday's 16,000 at the Ricoh...

Ross Byrne tries to chip through from Toulouse's 22, but the ball hits a wall of red.

Garry Ringrose pumps his legs and makes much better progress. He's up to the 5m line as Leinster get an advantage for offside.

The Irish side are pushed back so get the penalty. They fancy another try and kick to the corner.

Ok, maybe McGrath hasn't put an end to the Toulouse attack...

They're straight back into Leinster's 22 off the line-out. The mistake comes as Yoann Huget fumbles the ball and Luke McGrath kicks the resulting penalty to touch.

Toulouse are just centimetres from the tryline now but it is superb defence from Leinster.

Antoine Dupont passes it out to the wing and Jordan Larmour pounces on it! He's not quite away but Leinster have given themselves a bit of breathing room. Luke McGrath puts an end to the Toulouse attack with a kick to touch.

It's a solid maul off the line-out and Toulouse get to withing a metre of the line.

They swing right to try and find some space but only get pushed backwards. We come back for a penalty and Ramos kicks to touch again.

Fair play to Toulouse. They've been going at the Leinster again and again in the heat and are not giving in.

They win a penalty and Thomas Ramos kicks to the corner.

An easy kick for Sexton.

Fifteen minutes left and 15 points ahead. Leinster have got one foot in the final now. Maybe one and a half.

Leinster win the penalty and take the opportunity to give treatment to a few players. One of them is Johnny Sexton, but the Ireland fly-half is back up again and is going to kick for goal.
