Canada play New Zealand at 20:00 BST. You can follow that one - and watch it live - on the BBC Sport website/app later.

  2. Post update

    Netherlands 3-1 Cameroon

    Casey Stoney

Manchester United Women manager on BBC One

So can Canada now challenge for first place in the group?

Absolutely, because they've got threats going forward as well, and I'm not convinced by this Dutch back-line at all. I think Cameroon have shown again today that you can get in behind them, between them and expose them.

Canada will be organised, it will be a tough game for both teams and I see it being a draw, so it could be interesting.

  3. Post update

    Netherlands 3-1 Cameroon

    Laura Bassett

Former England defender on BBC One

Gabrielle Onguene was really brave for her goal. Had the goalkeeper come out even stronger I think Onguene was ready to take the hit.

    Netherlands 3-1 Cameroon

    Casey Stoney

Manchester United Women manager on BBC One

Gabrielle Onguene deserved her goal, she was fantastic. She's little but she's wiry. She's good with the ball, she's strong, she got in behind and caused the Netherlands problems all day. She was a real positive in that Cameroon attack today.

  7. 'It's frightening!'

    Netherlands 3-1 Cameroon

    Casey Stoney

Manchester United Women manager on BBC One

When Vivianne Miedema gets into the box she comes alive. She's very good at playing on the shoulder, she gets herself half a yard, and for the goal she uses the defender well to unsight the goalkeeper. She can finish.

And what records she goes on to break, who knows. She's only 22 - it's frightening!

  8. Post update

    Netherlands 3-1 Cameroon

    Laura Bassett

Former England defender on BBC One

I think the Netherlands dealt with the physical test well. They didn't get too frustrated. I think they were more frustrated with the referee for not containing the game and not managing it properly.

But as the second half went on, the game opened up and the Netherlands were able to play their rhythmic football and use their pace. Overall I think they'll be very pleased to come through a test like that.

  10. Post update

This was Cameroon’s first World Cup defeat by more than one goal. It was also Netherlands' first World Cup win by more than one goal.

Both sides made their World Cup debuts in 2015.

  11. Post update

This is only the Netherlands' second World Cup. Today is four days to the day since they qualified for the knockout stages in 2015.

  12. Post update

    Netherlands 3-1 Cameroon

    Casey Stoney

Manchester United Women manager on BBC One

The Netherlands got what they wanted but it wasn't easy. Cameroon stuck to their task and counter-attacked well. In one v one defending they were very physical and it shows that if you're physical with this Dutch team, you can stifle them.

Both the Netherlands and Cameroon squads get into a huddle after the match
  13. Post update

If the Netherlands win this group, they will face the team who finish second in England's group - which could be the Lionesses, Japan or Argentina.

If they finish second, then they will be up against the runners-up of the United States and Sweden group.

  14. 'Miedema's something else'

    Netherlands 3-1 Cameroon

    Lucy Ward

Former Leeds United Ladies striker on BBC Four

At 2-1, Cameroon had chances to make it 2-2, but the power of that shot from Vivianne Miedema - it was world-class finishing. She's something else. She could break every record going - goal-wise.
