Actor Nandi Bhebhe on the American servicemen who lost their lives in a botched D-Day rehearsal in 1944. She is appearing in the Globe's 946: The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips, adapted by Michael Morpurgo and Emma Rice.

Julie Burchill made her name as a fearless and controversial newspaper columnist. We asked her to write a series on the subject of overrated virtues and vices. This week she explains why life is too short to be modest.
