A Brazilian law expert says a jail sentence could be expected if Ipswich Town owner Marcus Evans is found to have resold tickets for Rio 2016 illegally.

A judge in Brazil has ordered the arrest of four executives from a sports hospitality company.

The men, who work for THG Sports, were named as Evans and Martin Studd from the UK, Irishman David Patrick Gilmore and Dutchman Maarten Van Os.

Dr Leonardo Oliveira from the Anglia Ruskin University, an expert on Brazilian law, said: "If a ticket is sold by someone that is not the person who is holding or managing or promoting the event, and the ticket is above the price printed in the ticket, that is a crime that can lead to a conviction of two to four years in prison."

None of the four is believed to be in Brazil and police there have said they will pursue the matter with Interpol.

THG said the allegations against it were "entirely without foundation".

Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy is urging his players to be brave ahead of Sunday's East Anglian Derby at Portman Road. 

 Town put in a much improved performance last night at Wolves, the game ending in a goalless draw.

Norwich, meanwhile won 1-0 at home to Bristol City. The Canaries are now second in the Championship. Town are 12th. 

McCarthy said: "Everybody is looking forward to Norwich..and not looking forward to it...they're all scared of losing. 

"You've got to be brave to win and that's what we'll be attempting to do on Sunday." 

Sunday's game kicks off at 12:00.

Writing on her Facebook page, Katy Sealy has spoken out about her appearance in the 100 metre hurdles at Rio this afternoon.

The Bawdsey-based athlete said: "Thank you everyone for your messages I will get round to reading them all. 

"This whole experience has been overwhelming and I'm absolutely devastated to have run so slow, I have felt so good in practice. 

"I am so proud to represent my little country Belize and so grateful for this opportunity. 

"I will come back so much stronger and keep on representing to my fullest. 

"Maybe I will get to do my actual event [heptathlon] next time."

The owner of Ipswich Town Football Club could be facing extradition to Brazil, over allegations he illegally sold tickets for the Olympic Games.

Marcus Evans is one of four THG Sports executives named on a warrant issued by a Brazilian judge, which police say they'll pursue with the international police organisation, Interpol.

Police in Brazil say the four men "had knowledge of, and contributed to a scheme that involved the illegal selling of tickets at prices well above face value, under the camouflage of hospitality packages".

THG said the allegations against it were "entirely without foundation". Ipswich Town said it has "no response" to the news.

A cyclist received a broken jaw and significant bruising to his face, after being assaulted in Ipswich at the end of last month, say police.

The man was cycling on Rectory Road when he had what's been described as a "verbal altercation" with the driver of a dark-coloured vehicle.

He continued onto Wherstead Road, when the same vehicle pulled alongside, close to the junction with Peppercorn Way. A person from the car then assaulted the victim, who required hospital treatment.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which took place between 22:00 and 22:20 on 31 July.

The A14 is blocked and there's stationary traffic westbound at J58 (A12 Seven Hills) near Ipswich, because of an overturned car.

Katy Sealy, who's been flying the flag for Belize despite living in Bawdsey, has just taken part in the 100m hurdles, but sadly failed to get the personal best she was aiming for.

She told us she was hoping for a sub 15 seconds time, but clocked 15.79.

No-one can take away from her the fact that she competed in Rio, so we're still proud of you Katy.

The first all-Suffolk Ryman Premier Division derby kicks off tonight, with Lowestoft Town hosting Needham Market at Crown Meadow.

The Trawlerboys got off to a winning start at the weekend with a 3-1 victory over Bognor Regis Town, while Needham drew with Burgess Hill Town 1-1.

The Marketmen's manager Mark Morsley says he expects a tough match tonight: "Clearly they're a club looking to have a very positive season after getting relegated last year. 

"They’ve got a big support and they are a big club and they probably are a club who should be in Conference football."

I don't know what the weather is like where you are, but I've just taken these photographs from the BBC Suffolk kitchen window in Ipswich, and I can't see any sign of the "plenty of sunshine" we promised you earlier.

Suffolk's cricketers will have to move fast if they are going to win their Unicorns Championship match against Buckinghamshire at Tring Park.

At lunch their lead had been cut to 224, although the hosts have lost two wickets in their second innings.

A new dementia atlas, published by the government, reveals patchy NHS care for the condition across England.

It also shows the proportion of people aged 65 years and over registered with a GP practice, that have a formal and recorded diagnosis of dementia:

• Ipswich and East Suffolk CCG has the highest percentage - at 4.23%
• In Great Yarmouth and Waveney, it's 3.98%
• West Suffolk has the lowest percentage at 3.73%
