Daddy Froome has made history - the first Briton to win three Tours and the first to successfully defend the maillot jaune.

Team Sky boss Dave Brailsford on ITV4: "I'm proud to be British. We weren't a cycling nation not so long ago and I think we are now.
"It's been great to be involved in the Tours de France we've won. Chris is a phenomenal, talented guy.
"It's been the most complete team performance we've ever had. The setting, it's a great moment and I feel a lot of pride."
'I would love to come back'
Chris Froome on ITV4: "It could have been the first one all over again. The same sort of emotions. It hits you how big this feels.
"We can feel we're in this bubble but events in Nice can put things into perspective and makes you think long ad hard about values and what sport is all about. It's a testament to the race that things have continued as normal and the same for the French people.
"I would love to come back. Every time I ride on to the Champs-Elysees I always think I can't wait to come back."

Chris Froome's podium speech:
"To my team-mates and support team. This is your yellow jersey too, I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for your sacrifice. This is one special team and I'm proud to be a part of it.
"My son, Kellan, I dedicate this victory to you.
"This Tour has obviously taken place against the backdrop of terrible events in Nice and we pay tribute to those who have lost their lives. These events put sport into perspective but it also shows the value of sport to free society.
"We all love the Tour because it is unpredictable but we love the Tour more for what stays the same - the passion from fans, the French countryside and the bond created by sport. These things will never change."
'Vive Le Tour'
An emotional Chris Froome collects a microphone and, voice breaking ever so slightly, delivers a moving speech.
He finishes with seven words in French.
"Vive Le Tour et vive la France."

Just as quickly as he walks off stage, he's summoned back up to stand atop to the podium. To his right is Romain Bardet, who finishes second, and to his left, third-placed Nairo Quintana.
Froome removes his cap to reveal crease in his forehead from where it's been digging in -he holds his hands in front of him and observes the British national anthem.
Yellow jersey
Chris Froome climbs the steps of the stage as plenty of British flags are shaken along the Champs Elysees.
With light streaking through the Arc de Triomphe behind him, he's lit up in bright yellow as he raises his hands in the air.

Want some more Peter Sagan? Of course you do.
He's back up on stage to pick up the super combativity award - the jury have decided he's the guy who's given it the most oomf over the last three weeks. And it would be hard to argue with then.
White jersey
What a moment for young Adam Yates. The boy from Bury done good.
Fourth in the general classification and the highest-placed rider under the age of 26 - so he gets the white jersey.
It's a tremendous achievement and he's up on the stage waving to the crowd with the white jersey on his torso.

Polka dot jersey
Rafal Majka waits to be brought on stage. He's led on by a lady in a red, polka-dotted dress and that's because he was won the king of the mountains jersey.
He pulls on the jersey, receives a bunch of flowers and holds his hands above his head.
Green jersey
First up is peter Sagan, who is handed the green jersey he lends to the Tour de France for a three weeks every year.
He was so close to nicking the stage win today as well. Such a cool guy.

Stage winner on the Champs-Elysees for the second successive year Andre Greipel on ITV4: "I cannot describe it, I'm super proud. The team believed in me during the three weeks and kept trying. It cannot be a better place to win than here.
"We had a good plan. With a head wind I tried to stay calm to save energy. When we hit the front we were one guy short but i chose the wheel of Kristoff and I was really happy I could finish it off."
