The sounds of BBC Television Centre

For many years the iconic Television Centre in White City was the instantly recognisable face of BBC Television.

In the weeks leading up to its scheduled demolition in August, arts organisation White Noise have commissioned a number of artists to pay tribute to the history of the building and to the the legacy of Television Centre itself.

Here is a sound portrait by Robin Warren, using the naturally-occurring sonic frequencies of the building in an attempt to discover if walls really can speak.
