  2. Tour de Yorkshire bikes to be donated to special libraries

    BBC Look North, Yorkshire

They were seen as symbols for one of the region's biggest sporting events. Thousands of old bikes - painted blue and yellow, and dotted around the route of the Tour de Yorkshire.

But now those bikes are being reused and donated to special libraries, so they can be loaned out, free of charge.

It's all part of the Tour's lasting legacy - to persuade more people to take up cycling.

    Stuart Whincup reports.

  6. Watch: 'Game changing' HIV drug to be NHS funded

    Oli Constable

The High Court has ruled that NHS England DOES have the power to fund the HIV preventative drug, PrEP.

The once-a-day pill, which costs £400 a month per person, works by disabling the virus to stop it multiplying.

The idea is to give it to uninfected men who are having unprotected sex with other men.
