    Local Live has finished for today. We're back from 08:00 tomorrow with more news from around the area. 

    In the mean time here's five things we've learnt today:

    • Police have been given more time to question a 29-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman's body was found in a house in Skegness.
    • A 33-year-old woman has died after a crash on the A18 in Scunthorpe earlier this morning. 
    • North Lincolnshire has the highest teen pregnancy rates.
    • Silent prayers will be held tonight at Lincoln Castle's poppies as part of a peace walk in the city.
    • Amazon use too much packaging for deliveries - Sian from Sleaford - showed us the massive box they sent her with just one bra in.

  4. Cancer patients benefit from revolutionary treatment

    Prostate cancer patients in Lincolnshire are benefiting from quicker and more convenient treatment thanks to better use of radiotherapy.

    Lincoln County Hospital entered 155 patients into a trial over the last 10 years, giving them slightly higher doses of radiotherapy, but over a shorter period of time.

    The research has now been recognised nationally in the medical journal The Lancet Oncology, which said that the “hard and fast treatment” worked just as well as traditional methods, causing no more side-effects.

    Consultants at Lincoln County Hospital now prescribe this treatment regime for all eligible patients.

  6. East Lincolnshire has highest teenage pregnancy rates

    A North Lincolnshire doctor has warned more education is needed to drive down teenage pregnancy rates in the area.

    It's as the region topped the charts with the highest pregnancy rates in the country.

    Dr Silas Gimba is from Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby, which runs a clinic for young mothers.

    He said: "By the time they get to us they've already made choices. It has a lot to do with getting into schools and getting sex education early, but we are positive that with the effort we're putting in we should get some good results."

  8. Appeal after two break-ins

    Lincolnshire police are appealing for information about two burglaries. 

    One incident happened at a property in Rossa Lane in Trusthorpe on the morning of Sunday 17th July.

    A window was broken and a TV, playstation and tools were taken. 

    Another house was broken into on Main Road in Withern - between the 8 and 17 of July.

  10. Tough sentencing sends clear message to ravers say police

    Lincolnshire police say the jail sentences for more than 20 people involved in an illegal rave sends out a strong message.

    More than 20 police officers and a police dog were injured during an operation to halt an illegal rave in Twyford Woods near Bourne in May last year.

    The county force successfully prosecuted 21 people for violence towards its officers. 

    Disorder broke out when police tried to close down the event. 

    The offenders appeared at Lincoln Crown Court last week and were given prison sentences varying between 12 months and two-and-a-half years.

  11. Livability students call for education to be a 'Right not a Fight'

    Young people in North East Lincolnshire are campaigning for students with learning disabilities to have the same choices that most others have when choosing a college.

    The 'Right Not a Fight' campaign is aiming to get a better choice of suitable colleges and also for better information for students. 

    They say it's often the case they're not told about colleges out of the area where they live.   

  12. Inquest to open into Spalding shooting

    Inquests into the deaths of three family members who died in a triple shooting are set to open this week.

    Charlotte Hart, 19, and mother Claire, 50, are believed to have been killed by father Lance, 57, near the Castle Sports Complex in Spalding last Tuesday.

    It is understood he then took his own life.

    An inquest is expected to be opened and adjourned in Boston on Wednesday, while a police investigation continues.

  13. Silent prayers to be held in Lincoln tonight

    Communities from all regions are expected to gather in Lincoln for a peace walk across the city tonight.

    The walk, which starts at the Cathedral, will include silent prayers at the poppies at Lincoln Castle. It's been organised by Lincoln's Interfaith Forum, assisted by the City of Lincoln Council.

  14. Hooliganism will 'not be tolerated' say police

    Humberside Police says its seeking banning orders for those involved in the disorder after Grimsby Town's pre-season match with Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon.

    The force says the order will prevent suspects from attending future matches in the UK and abroad. 

    Four people have been charged with offences including assault, affray and public order offences after officers were hurt when "missiles" were thrown towards them.

  17. Four charged after disorder at Grimsby Town pre-season game

    Four people have been charged after two police officers were injured during violence as Grimsby Town met Sheffield United for a pre-season match on Saturday.

    Humberside Police said the officers were hurt when "missiles" were thrown towards them in Cleethorpes during the game at Blundell Park.

    The four are due to attend court after being charged with assault, affray and public order offences.

    Two others held for the same offences have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

    The force said further arrests were expected.

  18. Teenager seriously injured after being hit by car

    A man has been arrested after a 15-year-old boy and two other pedestrians were hit by a car in Grimsby.

    The child suffered serious injuries after he was struck on Welholme Road, near Hainton Avenue, at about 20:40 BST on Friday.

    A 24-year-old man was held on suspicion of a number of driving offences and has been bailed pending further enquiries.

    Officers say they are trying to trace the driver of a dark coloured hatchback car, which was seen close to the vehicle that was involved in the crash just before the incident.  

  19. Calls for Cleethorpes pub closures during football matches

    There are calls for some pubs in Cleethorpes to be closed during Grimsby Town football matches.

    The campaign comes after six people were arrested during trouble as the Mariners met Sheffield United for a pre-season match on Saturday afternoon. 

    A police officer was injured when bottles were thrown towards him. Pubs around Blundell Park were temporarily shut between 17:00 and 19:00 BST. 

    Bob Callison, from Cleethorpes in Bloom, says he wants to keep the resort "family friendly".
