We're all excited, but it's going to be a long two weeks, so it's important we get some sleep in tonight while we can.

Slovenian minnows NK Domzale will be be out to ruin West Ham's first game at the Olympic Stadium tonight when they meet in the second leg of their Europa League qualifying third-round tie at 19:45 BST.

Luka Elsner's side "made history" in the first leg with a shock 2-1 win against the Hammers, the biggest result in the club's 95-year existence.

This is a club that cannot afford to pay transfer fees, that is forced to sell its best players every couple of years, with a team ethic inspired by the Hollywood film 300 and a young manager in the mould of Diego Simeone.

Before tonight's match, Elsner told BBC Sport about his coaching philosophy, the club's novel approach to transfers and his Domzale "army".

The four-hour time difference is hammering some here in Rio. 

A boxing draw which ends near 2pm gives reporters a matter of minutes to meet the 6pm deadlines for TV around the UK. One reporter just needed his wi-fi to fire so badly that after some advice he ran to the roof to file a TV package.

The draw doesn't look too bad for GB's hopes. A bye for Nicola Adams, Joe Joyce and Muhammad Ali. Anthony Fowler at middleweight faces a seeded opponent, that's a bit nasty.

In all GB has 12 medal chances and remember they won five at London 2012. Beating that looks tough but team boss Rob McCracken thinks this squad has more to offer than that of four years ago.

Let's not forget, the 12 fighters were not chosen, they had to qualify. A country can only qualify one fighter in each weight class and GB has 12 in the 13 classes. That shows real depth.

The first men's football match of the Rio Olympics has ended goalless between Iraq and Denmark.

Honduras and Algeria are up next, before hosts Brazil take on South Africa.

Swansea City have agreed a fee and personal terms in their bid to sign Sevilla striker Fernando Llorente.

The 31-year-old Spanish international has two years left on his contract with the La Liga side and will have a medical with the Welsh club on Friday.

"It has come a long way with Swansea to reach an agreement," said Sevilla sporting director Monchi.

Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins expects to announce at least one new signing in the "next few days".

So many global golds has Mo Farah now won over the past five years that he arrives in Rio chasing an unprecedented quadruple-double - a fourth successive triumph at a major international games over both 5,000m and 10,000m. 

Having pulled that off in spectacular fashion in London, he repeated the trick at the Worlds in both Moscow and Beijing, running each time with pretty much identical tactics. 

No Briton has ever won three Olympic gold medals in athletics. Farah, time after time, has proved himself equal to the challenge.

It has been the transfer saga of the summer - even the impending Olympics can't stop it from getting a mention in Sportsday - but Manchester United's pursuit of Paul Pogba could finally have ended in success.

The Manchester Evening News are reporting that the deal to bring the 23-year-old France midfielder to the club from Juventus for a world record fee is complete, and will be announced as soon as Pogba ends his holiday in the USA.

The 100m is arguably the Olympic Games' most iconic event.

A gold medal in the race gives an athlete global recognition. Breaking the world record over the distance ensures sporting immortality.

American Donald Lippincott and Czech Marie Mejzlikova were the first, with Jamaica's Usain Bolt and Florence Griffith-Joyner of the United States the current holders of the crown.

The first woman in Olympic history to win a boxing gold medal, Nicola Adams is now looking to become the first Briton since Harry Mallin in 1924 to retain an Olympic title in the ring. 

The 33-year-old is in form - she became world champion in May - and while the woman she beat in the flyweight final in London, China's Ren Cancan, is back again for revenge, Adams believes she is in better shape than four summers ago.

Ex-Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic has revealed the three strikers he struggled against most during his playing career, in an interview with FourFourTwo.

And followers of the Serbian centre-half's career may be surprised that he left out Fernando Torres - with whom he had struggles more than once - plumping instead for Didier Drogba (above), Luis Suarez and Sergio Aguero. 

"Torres always created a chance to score, but Drogba was on you for the full game," he said.

“Drogba was physically the hardest, Suarez and Aguero were the best."

Great Britain's Jo Pavey will make history this summer when she runs in the 10,000m at Rio 2016. She will be the oldest female track runner to compete at an Olympics at the age of 42. It will be her fifth Games.

“I never thought I’d be here at this stage," she told BBC Sport. 

"I remember when it was announced in 2005 that London would host 2012, thinking ‘oh, what a shame, I would have loved to compete in a home Games but I’ll probably be retired'. I would never have thought about competing in the one after that.

“I’ve really found motivation from juggling everything, my little boy is a great training partner of mine, he’ll go about eight or nine miles along the canal path with me on his bike."

Arsenal are interested in signing the Valencia and Germany defender Shkodran Mustafi.

The Gunners have yet to submit a bid to the Spanish club, but are targeting Mustafi as they look to reinforce a defence depleted by the loss of Per Mertesacker to injury.

They face competition for the 24-year-old former Everton and Sampdoria player from a number of clubs including AC Milan and Chelsea, whose manager Antonio Conte knows Mustafi well.

Meanwhile, Arsenal also want to sign a striker before the end of the transfer window, but they are not pursuing forwards Riyad Mahrez of Leciester City or Julian Draxler of Wolfsburg.

These might be 21-year-old Adam Peaty's first Olympic Games, but the kid from Uttoxeter who grew up scared of water has appeared intimidated by little else since his big breakthrough two years ago. 

It makes sense: this is a man who relaxes by listening to NWA and practising target shooting with an air rifle.

Former Arsenal and Reading goalkeeper Graham Stack has joined Sachin Tendulkar's Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters.

The 34-year-old, who left Barnet last week after four seasons with the club, will link up with his former Reading manager Steve Coppell at the Blasters. He will also take on the role of goalkeeping coach.

Stack spoke to former Gunners team-mate Robert Pires, who played for FC Goa in 2014, before moving. 

"He loved it over there," Stack told BBC Sport. "He said it’s wonderful, the people, the places. 

"For someone like Robert, who has achieved a hell of a lot in the game, to have that opinion of the country and the league, that tells me something is going on, and it’s good. I like the sound of it.”

Brazil's men will take to the football field at 20:00 BST tonight, after the female host team won 3-0 yesterday to kick off their tournament.
