A further two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was shot in Manchester.

A 27-year-old man was found by police with gunshot wounds to his leg and abdomen at a takeaway on Rochdale Road, Harpurhey on 7 August.
He underwent surgery and is now in a stable condition.
Two men, aged 21 and 26, both from Harpurhey were arrested earlier and remain in custody, Greater Manchester Police said.
A further two men - a 27-year-old man from Longsight and a 22-year-old man from Harpurhey - were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Sunday and Thursday respectively.
Both have been bailed pending further inquiries.

A man has been arrested after a man was knocked unconscious in Wigan.

A 28-year-old man was hit on the back of his head after being approached by a group of men in Wallgate after a night out on 30 July.
He suffered serious head and facial injuries.
A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and violent disorder. He has been released on bail until 11 November.

Man stabbed in neck in Levenshulme
A man has been stabbed in the neck in Levenshulme.

The man, in his 30s, was found injured at the junction of Matthews Lane and Lonsdale Road at about 06:00.
He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Ashton house blast: Family friends start fundraising
Family and friends of those affected by the fire and explosion at a house in Ashton-under-Lyne are rallying around the victims.
The Wilson family were forced to jump out of upstairs windows as the blaze raged - and John Wilson, 63, later died of his injuries in hospital.

The real ale - called Stray Dog after one of their songs - was created at Moorhouse Brewery in Burnley, Lancashire.

Oldham GP surgery in special measures
A GP surgery in Oldham has been placed in special measures after being rated inadequate by a health watchdog.
The Care Quality Commission found some of the staff at Greenbank Surgery, including GP partners, did not know how to report incidents or concerns.
Inspectors also found appropriate recruitment checks had not been undertaken before staff members started work at the surgery.
NHS Oldham Clinical Commissioning Group is yet to comment.
