Eyewitness describes Italy earthquake 'panic'
A magnitude 6.2 earthquake has struck central Italy, leaving at least six people dead and others trapped under rubble, Italian officials said.
"We're about 20km from the epicentre. We were all woken by relatively severe sideways shaking of our beds," said Eve Read, who is on holiday near Perugia.
