One of the main stories we've been following today is the moving of the Airlander 10 back into its home at Hangar 1 in Cardington, after it nosedived on its second test flight on Wednesday.
Steve Marshall took some fantastic photos of Martha Gwyn as she was being towed.

Man jailed for second time for air arms offences
A man from Bedford found with a shotgun in the taxi he was travelling in has been jailed for seven years.
Tests found DNA belonging Nazidh Shehzad, 35, on the weapon, which was in the boot along with four shotgun cartridges and a stash of heroin.
Shehzad had previously served a five-and-a-half jail sentence for having a sawn-off shotgun which was found in his home.

Convicted rapist showed 'no remorse'

"You callously abused her. The psychological effects on her were very serious and likely to be long-term. The offences were pre-planned and were motivated by your desire for sexual gratification."
Those are the words of Judge Andrew Bright, who today sentenced, Alfred Lines, 74, to over 10 years in jail for the rape and abuse of a young girl in Hertfordshire.
Referring to the interview with a probation officer before he was sentenced, the judge said Lines, who had been married for 50 years, had shown "self pity, not remorse".

After Alfred Lines, 74, from Little Paxton in Cambridgeshire was sentenced to more than 10 years in jail for the rape of a young girl, the victim read a statement out at St Albans Crown Court.
She was aged between 11 and 12 when she was abused in Ware, Hertfordshire, and is now a teenager.
She said: "I have been unable to grow up. I am afraid to have a boyfriend. I can't get it out of my mind that something like this will happen again. I cannot forgive him. I think he should go to prison, regardless of his age."

A 74-year-old Cambridgeshire man has been jailed for 10 years and four months for the rape and sexual abuse of a young girl.
Alfred Lines from Little Paxton, St Neots, pleaded guilty to two charges of rape of a child under 13, two of sexual assault on a child aged under 13 and one of assault by penetration.
He was sentenced today at St Albans Crown Court for the attacks which happened in Ware, Hertfordshire, when the victim was aged between 11 and 12.

Inmate dies at Woodhill prison

A man has died at Woodhill Prison in Milton Keynes, a coroner's officer has said.
Temperatures of up to 24C (75F) were forecast for Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire today but it seems like things are really hotting up in St Albans.
At today's sentencing at Colchester Magistrates' Court, judge John Woollard told Leonie Troke: "I want to express the sadness that I have that nothing I could do today will have the effect of bringing Mrs Wilcox back, or repair the serious injuries caused to your daughter."
Troke, from Wendover in Buckinghamshire, sat in the dock with her head bowed and broke down.
She was ordered to do 180 hours community service, disqualified from driving for 18 months, and ordered to pay £145 in court costs and charges.

Outside court, the family of Jean Wilcox, 82, - the passenger who died in the crash - said they were happy with the sentence.

The judge at Colchester Magistrates' Court heard how the crash happened in July 2015 near the village of Great Wigborough in Essex when Buckinghamshire mother, Leonie Troke was driving a VW Polo.
Her two daughters, aged five and two, were in the back.
The court heard she clipped the kerb or a rut in the road, tried to correct the steering, overcompensated, and veered across to the other carriageway, crashing into a Vauxhall Astra.
Her five-year-old daughter Lucille suffered injuries to her liver, spleen, lungs, spine and has been left paralysed from the waist down.
Jan Wilcox, 82, from Waltham Cross who was a passenger in the Astra, died at the scene.

A mother who paralysed her own daughter in a crash in Essex, which also killed an elderly passenger, has been given a community service order.
Leonie Troke, 38, of Halton Lane, Wendover, Aylesbury, had admitted causing death by careless driving.
She was sentenced today at Colchester Magistrates' Court.

Here's the next series of pictures taken by Steve Marshall as the Airlander 10 was being towed back into it's hangar yesterday afternoon after it's nose dive landing on Wednesday.
He said it was "totally awesome" seeing it move.
He was taking some photos of the open she as "its never open". Then he went round to photo Airlander 10 and when he realised it was moving he raced back to photograph it.

Whitlock busts his moves all over the country

It's certainly been a busy week for double gold winning Olympian Max Whitlock.
Not content with winning three medals at the Rio Olympics, since he arrived back home on Tuesday he's been busting his moves all over the country.

The prison has come under increased scrutiny from inspectors over the number of deaths at the prison in recent years.

Record-breaking bank holiday weekend expected at Luton Airport

This bank holiday weekend could be the busiest yet for Luton Airport, in its 78-year history.
Between now and Monday the airport is expecting about 200,000 passengers to arrive and depart. That's up 15% on this time last year.
