Follow the Calderdale Film Trail
Here's one for the movie buffs among you.
You probably know about TV Shows like Last Tango in Halifax and Happy Valley both of which were filmed with the beautiful backdrop of the Calder Valley.
But what about the other films and programmes shot in Calderdale?
Well if you fancy seeing the area with the movies in mind, try out this brilliant Calderdale Film Trail which tells you where iconic films like Brassed Off and the new Swallows and Amazons were shot.
The guide includes a 1979 film starring Richard Gere (below) and a movie starring Ray Winstone from 1999.

Driving in Leeds tonight? You need to know about this
Here's your advance warning:
There'll be a lane closed due to roadworks during the night on A58(M) Woodhouse Tunnel Westbound between A64(M)/A58 Clay Pit Lane and A58(M) Inner Ring Road.
Leeds City Council say it's on the A58M Leeds Inner Ring Road below Leeds General Infirmary and the university buildings and is due to work aimed at strengthening the walls and pier of Woodhouse Tunnel.
It'll be closed between 19:00 and 06:00 on Saturday.
Police identify person responsible for Sikh hate incident in Bradford

Police say they have identified the person responsible for a "hate incident" involving the the Guru Granth Sahib Ji - the central religious scripture of Sikhism.
The scriptures were thrown out of a van over the locked gates of Guru Gobind Singh Gudwara in the Barkerend area of Bradford.
Senior police officers from Bradford have today attended a meeting to speak with the Sikh community about the incident and said they had identified the person responsible.

Inquiries are now continuing into this matter.
West Yorkshire Police said it took all hate crimes and incidents seriously and each was investigated thoroughly.
Water voles are back in Yorkshire
How much do you know about water voles? Well Ratty from The Wind in the Willows was one...that's right...he wasn't a rat.
The National Trust has released 100 water voles into the countryside around Malham Tarn in the Yorkshire Dales.
Vole numbers have dropped by almost 90% in recent decades, and they have become one of the UK's most endangered mammals.
It's believed to be the single biggest water vole re-introduction anywhere in the country.

Police are trying to trace two men who left a seriously injured woman and her two-year-old daughter in the wreckage of their car after crashing into it in a stolen vehicle.
This footage was taken from a dashcam in a lorry...
The stolen VW Golf was speeding along Leeds Road in Dewsbury on 12 July when it collided with a white Ssangyong Korando, which was reversing from a driveway with a 35-year-old woman and her daughter inside.
The woman was airlifted to hospital and required treatment for serious facial injuries. Her daughter was unharmed.

Huddersfield waste site fire 'could pollute River Holme'
The fire on Queens Mill Road in Lockwood started just after 05:30.
At one point about 30 firefighters were tackling the blaze.
The Environment Agency said the burning waste was non-hazardous, but there was a potential risk to the River Holme which was being closely monitored.

Vigil to be held over hospital's A&E changes
A vigil is due to be held outside Calderdale Royal Hospital tonight by protesters concerned about proposed changes to its A&E.
Bradford City captain Tony McMahon will face his old boss Tony Mowbray this weekend, as the Bantams host Coventry City.

McMahon played under Mowbray when the pair were at Middlesbrough, but insists it's just a case of business as usual for Stuart McCall's side.
"It's like MK Dons, they will be a passing team and they'll look to play from the back. That's how Tony Mowbray sets up, he likes his teams to pass it nicely. We just worry about ourselves," he said.

Travel M62: Some lanes reopened around J26 after air ambulance called out

Things should be getting back to normal as the M62 is starting to move again following a three-vehicle accident about 3pm
One female casualty who was taken to hospital.
At one point the whole westbound carriageway was closed, but some lanes have reopened.

The motorway is closed and there's queuing traffic westbound between J27, M621 (Gildersome) in Gildersome and J26, M606 (Chain Bar) in Oakenshaw, because of a multi-vehicle accident and an overturned vehicle.
Congestion to J29, M1 (Lofthouse) and to J25, A644 (Brighouse).

Theresa May backs Osborne's 'Northern Powerhouse'

Theresa May has vowed to press ahead with George Osborne's "Northern Powerhouse" despite having fired him as chancellor.
In a Yorkshire Post article, the prime minister promised to "help the great cities and towns of the North pool their strengths and take on the world".
This includes backing a bid to bring cycling's world championships to Yorkshire.
The Northern Powerhouse is the name attached to the government's bid to create a rival economy to London and the South East in the north of England.
It involves devolving new powers from Whitehall, improving transport links and creating new regional mayors to act as figureheads for their regions.

Remembered: The day 40 people in Bradford were killed
An exhibition to mark the centenary of a Bradford munitions factory tragedy which saw 40 people killed has opened in the city.
An explosion ripped through the Low Moor Munitions Company, New Works Road, on 21 August 1916, with the resulting fire triggering further explosions.
The site produced picric acid to colour carpets, but was converted into a munitions factory during World War One.
The exhibition, at Bradford City Hall, contains medals awarded to firefighters and items from a destroyed fire engine.

Bradford City captain Tony McMahon will face his old boss Tony Mowbray this weekend, as the Bantams host Coventry City.
