The last BHS stores close their doors

The last BHS stores are set to close for the final time after 88 years on the high Street.

The closure of the remaining 22 shops comes after the retailer was placed into administration in March but failed to find a buyer.

The previous owners, Dominic Chappell and Sir Philip Green, have been heavily criticised by a parliamentary inquiry for mismanaging the chain and failing to protect its pension scheme.

Joe Lynam reports.
