Watch: Real Junk Food Project gets new trailer kitchen

An event was held in Doncaster town centre to celebrate the arrival of a new kitchen.
The kitchen is in a trailer donated by South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service which means that the organisation The Real Junk Food Project can operate their new café and community hub.
I've been down to the café on Scot Lane to find out more.

Stories Of The Somme, a new exhibition at Experience Barnsley, opens today commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme.
It's a free exhibition which tells the story of the Somme through the eyes of those who may not have come home.

Westwood called up for international duty

Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Kieren Westwood has been called up for the Republic of Ireland squad for their up coming games with Oman and Serbia.
Westwood has played for his country 18 times since making his debut back in 2009, which included the side which made it into the last 16 of the European Championships in France in the summer.

Lawyer: Hillsborough appeal 'dead end'

One of the lawyers representing families at the Hillsborough disaster says he's mystified as to why detectives have today issued pictures of 19 people they want to speak to as witnesses to the disaster.
They're all people seen on CCTV images outside gate C before it was opened leading to the fatal crush.
The police say the release of the photos is part of the criminal investigation "Operation Resolve".
But lawyer Elkan Abrahamson says he suspects the investigating team - who are investigating South Yorkshire police - are still trying to deflect blame for the disaster:

A woman whose brother died in the Hillsborough tragedy in 1989 has described the latest appeal for witnesses as a waste of taxpayers' money.
Louise Brookes lost her brother Andrew in the disaster.
She's reacted angrily to a new appeal from detectives involved in Operation Resolve who're trying to trace 19 men and say there are still gaps in their knowledge of what happened on the day.
Barnsley council has said that a building surveyor is carrying out an inspection of the former Chicago Rock building.
They say that an English Heritage representative has been visiting the listed building after a blaze over the weekend destroyed a lot of the interior.
There's still concern that the building is unstable and could collapse, with demolition still an option.

Hillsborough is venue for first flooding consultation

People are being asked for their views on how £83m of investment should be spent on protecting Sheffield homes and business from flooding.
The consultation, to take place at the Hillsborough football ground, will be hosted by Sheffield City Council in a bid to to try to prevent the devastation seen in 2007.

Magna teams up with first aid charity

Magna has teamed up with first aid charity St John Ambulance to promote lifesaving skills for families.
St John, who provide first aid training across the country, have chosen the Rotherham attraction to host free live demonstrations of lifesaving skills on Thursday 1 September and Sunday 4 September.
The demonstrations at Magna form part of Save a Life September, an annual campaign by St John Ambulance to teach lifesaving skills to members of the public and raise awareness of the importance of first aid.
They will be carried out by volunteers and will show techniques to deal with choking, severe bleeding and heart attacks, plus help on the recovery position and CPR.

Frances Byrnes from Sheffield had walked past that bridge on Park Hill, and wondered who the lovers were.
She set off an a quest to find them and made a radio documentary about the process, in the hope that there'd be a romantic happy ever after.
