Watch: Lincoln's Joseph Banks conservatory dismantled for move

It's a sad goodbye for the Joseph Banks Conservatory in Lincoln which for years sat proudly in the grounds of The Lawn.
However with Stokes Coffee moving in to revitalise the site, the conservatory is being dismantled and packed up to go to its new home of Woodside Wildlife park in Langworth.
Witness appeal for Fonaby Top crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious accident in Caistor on Sunday.
Five people were injured in the crash between a white Ford Focus and an orange Kia Sportage.
A 73-year-old woman from North Lincolnshire suffered serious injuries and is being treated in hospital.

New research could help Lincolnshire's dairy farmers

Dairy farmers in Lincolnshire have struggled to keep farms going with falling milk prices along with the cost of feed and bad weather.
However its hoped a new programme of research could go some way to helping with the problem.
The University of Nottingham has got £1.7m for a research programme to help dairy farmers.

A Lincolnshire man who fractured the jaw of a schoolboy while drunk has been sent to prison for six months.
Campaigners say road signs directing people to Grantham Accident and Emergency unit are misleading and should be changed because the casualty department is now closed more than it's open.
It's five days since hospital bosses in Grantham took the step of shutting the town's Accident and Emergency Unit for 14.5 hours a day because of a staffing crisis.

Skegness mother's 'nightmare' over missing son

A mother from Skegness says her life's been a "nightmare" since her son went missing.
Terry McSpadden disappeared nine years ago after a night at the pub in Wisbech in Cambridgeshire.
He left to go home to his home in a nearby village but hasn't been since.
A coroner now says an inquest will take place later this year. Terry's mum, Helen Thrower says she just wants some answers.

Boy's attacker jailed for six months

A drunk Lincolnshire man who fractured the jaw of a schoolboy has been sent to prison for six months.
Lincoln Crown Court heard that Calum Stinson had attacked the 16-year -old after mistaking him for a drug dealer.
The attack was in a supermarket car park in Sleaford in January. The 21-year-old from Harris Way in Grantham admitted a charge of Grievous Bodily Harm.

Grimsby fish supplier Icelandic Seachill announces 86 redundancies

Grimsby fish supplier Icelandic Seachill has announced it will make 86 redundancies from its workforce.
A consultation was launched after Marks & Spencers decided to use another supplier.
The company has confirmed it will close the Icelandic Seachill Deli by March 2017 and transfer production.
Icelandic Seachill say they appreciate its a difficult time for their employees but they still remain in a strong position.

After a consultation on devolution for Lincolnshire showed a narrow majority of people didn't want a directly-elected mayor, the County Council Leader Martin Hill plans to see if they can have devolved powers without an elected mayor.

Twigg family reaction to Rio hockey gold

Just two weeks left of Lincoln Castle's poppy display

If you haven't yet seen them, there's not too much time left.
The Poppy Wave at Lincoln Castle has just two weeks left in residence before the artwork is dismantled. Over 400,000 people have been to see the iconic sculpture so far, which has been on display since 26 May this year.
The Wave can be seen at Lincoln Castle until 4 September 2016.

Five injured in crash near Caistor

Police say five people have been injured, one seriously following a collision at Fonaby Top near Caistor.
Emergency services along with the air ambulance attended the incident off the A1173 on Sunday afternoon which involved two vehicles.
A woman in her 70’s who suffered serious injuries was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Aircraft sculpture set to mark 100 years of RAF Waddington

A sculpture is being unveiled this afternoon to mark the centenary of RAF Waddington.
It's seven feet tall and features the outlines of two iconic aircraft which flew from the station, the Lancaster and Vulcan bomber.
