Rio 2016 may just be over, but that doesn't mean we can't switch our attention to the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 and start looking for North Yorkshire's next Olympians.
British shot putt Champion Scott Lincoln is from Northallerton and he already has his eyes set on attaining a medal:
Cawood Craft Festival takes place every August Bank Holiday weekend, but with the retirement of the local vicar, it's uncertain whether the event can continue to use church grounds.
North Yorkshire's weather: A drizzly afternoon, clearing later
Overnight flooding has closed a show cave at White Scar Cave in Ingleton, North Yorkshire, with dramatic video taken at the scene earlier today showing water rushing through the visitor entrance and down steps to the nearby road.
Heavy rain is said to have hit the area overnight, with standing water on a number of roads, according to North Yorkshire County Council.
It's estimated 60mm of rain had fallen in the area since midnight, but staff at the caves say they're hopeful the attraction will reopen by Tuesday morning.
John Connaughton, caves manager, has told BBC Radio York that water started to flow out of the cave entrance at about 08:20 and described the incident as an "exceptional flood".

Best foot forward: Inspiring North Yorkshire's future divers
Gareth Barlow
Journalist, BBC Radio York
This morning I've been looking at the impact the Rio Olympics could have on sport in North Yorkshire.
Oliver Dingley from Harrogate also took part in Rio representing Ireland. He became their first ever Olympic diving finalist.
Jack and Oliver's journeys to Rio began in the pool at Harrogate Hydro, so I went along this morning to meet some young divers of the future.
Harrogate and District Diving Club's senior diving coach, Rosie Taylor explained why it's important for the next generation of divers to have role models like Jack and Oliver:
On offer is a 21-bedroom mansion, pub, petrol station, 43 homes and 2,116 acres of land at a guide price of £20m although there are a number of properties in the village that are not part of the sale.

The ownership of the village has been in the Dawnay family for 150 years but after Eve Dawnay died in 2011, the family decided to sell up.
The Yorkshire derby was decidedly bad-tempered and the Knights ended up with just 11 men on the pitch following Mike Emmett's sending-off and a sin-binning for Tommy Saxton.
Parents were not consulted and the issue of consent was left to managers.
At Richmond Hill Approved School in North Yorkshire, housing pupils aged 15 and older, the most disruptive boys were given an anticonvulsant drug to see if it would control behaviour.
The trial of a sedative on girls at a school near Leeds did not proceed.
Bob Hammal, who taught at Richmond Hill between 1968 and 1972, has told the BBC's Sancha Berg he's appalled to learn of the drug trial at the school:

Record-breaking Egbert gets wheelie good at Elvington

The airfield at Elvington was a particularly noisy place to be at the weekend, and it wasn't the usual roar of plane engjnes from the nearby Yorkshire Air Museum.

In fact, the airfield was playing host to the 11th Motorbike Wheelie World Championship, with the winner the rider who travelled the fastest - usually over 200mph - for 1km in the wheelie position.
This year's champion was Dutchman Egbert Van Poppa riding a Hayabusa Turbo 1300cc.
The first meeting in North Yorkshire takes place at The Forest and Vale in Pickering at 13:00 on Friday 26 August.
A touch of South Korea in Harrogate
Jim Addyman
BBC Local Live, York
Believe it or not, international football came to North Yorkshire at the weekend.
A team from South Korea is touring northern England, with games lined up against Liverpool and Blackburn among others.
On hearing of Harrogate's new state-of-the-art pitch, they arranged an extra game on this side of the Pennines on Sunday, with the South Korean XI drawing 4-4 with Harrrogate Town's Under 21 side.
Speaking to BBC Radio York, manager Lee Ji-Bum commented on the different style of football they experienced in the game at the CNG Stadium:
House fire deaths in Yorkshire on the rise
There's been a sharp rise in the number of people dying in fires across our region in the last five years, a new study shows.
A total of 133 people have died in house fires since 2011 - including 13 in North Yorkshire.
One family from Yorkshire say they're lucky to be alive after an electrical fire ripped through their home.
Maryyam, who lives near Bradford with her husband and their three children, had to flee to safety after being woken by smoke last Wednesday morning:

BBC Local Live, York
That's all for today - join us again tomorrow from 07:00. In the meantime here are five things we've learnt about our county today:
1. Home Office doctors gave the go-ahead for experimental drug trials on children at a North Yorkshire approved school in the 1960s.
2. The rain in the Dales over the last few days has led to flash floods in the Ingleton area, including at the White Scar Cave visitors centre.
3. West Heslerton could be under new ownership soon as there's been an offer for the up-for-sale village.
4. It seems Elvington is the place to be for 200mph wheelies.
5. The Olympics in Rio may be over, but for one North Yorkshire athlete training for Tokyo 2020 is already under way.

Listen: Dancers strut their stuff in York for new TV programme
Georgey Spanswick
Presenter, BBC Radio York
There really was dancing in the streets in York yesterday, and it was all for a new TV documentary called Yorkshire Pride.
A number of roads in and around the city were closed while filming took place.
I can't give away too much because all will be revealed when it's on TV in the Autumn.
One of the people who's been taking part is Donya Keys, who's principal of En Pointe Classical Dance School in York:
Also involved in the filming were a group of, wait for it, dancing Romans!

West Heslerton: Offer made in £20m village sale
Jim Addyman
BBC Local Live, York
Earlier this year, the village of West Heslerton, near Malton, made the news as the majority of the village was put up for sale by the landowner.
Now it seems that an offer has been made by an unnamed party.
Cundalls estate agents have confirmed an offer for the estate is "on the table", but will not go into any further detail.
