  3. Lady Pies players leaves for new job

    Notts County Ladies defender Maja Krantz is to leave the club to take up a job opportunity outside of football.

    The Swede joined the club ahead of the current season and has made 12 appearances.

    She'll be available for Sunday's home game against Arsenal and the following Thursday's away game at Chelsea before moving on.

    She tweeted she was sad to leave.

  4. Bake Off popularity has soared says former winner

    Nottingham Trent graduate and former Bake Off winner, Frances Quinn has been talking to BBC News about how big the show has got since she appeared on it.

    "We were the last year on BBC Two when it was cakes versus cars," she said.

  5. Body was found in river by County Hall

    Police have now told us they found the body in the River Trent at about 09:00 this morning, close to County Hall. 

    The body still hasn't been formally identified but Mr Bugg's family had been informed of the development.

  6. Woman swims Channel to celebrate birthday

    Trish Jackson from West Bridgford fulfilled her dream of 45 years to swim the English Channel  - and she dragged five family members along with her.

  7. Severn Trent now at Wollaton Street

    Western Power has told me the underground cable was fully repaired yesterday.

    Their workers were going to reinstate the road today, but while relaying the tarmac, a cast iron pipe sprung a leak and filled the hole with water.

     Severn Trent are now at Wollaton Street repairing this and it's not known how long that will take.  

  8. Statement from Mr Bugg's family

    A statement has gone up on a Facebook page set up in the search for Michael Bugg.

    It reads: "I have been asked by the family to thank you all from the bottom of their hearts for all your support during the search for Michael.

    "The family are surrounded by their loved ones at this time and ask for time to deal with their grief."

  9. Body find in search for missing dad

    We haven't any further updates from police on the identity of the body they found in the River Trent this morning.

    On Tuesday, police began extensive searches around the river following the disappearance of Michael Bugg and said the father-of-one could have "potentially" fallen in the water.

    A source has told the BBC that Wollaton Street is going to have close for a third day tomorrow because workers have damaged a water main while repairing the power cable.

  14. Horse lover was killed in freak accident

    Kathryn Bull, 39, died at the Blidworth centre when she was strangled by her horse after it bolted and dragged her across a field.

    The inquest into her death took place last week and a memorial fund has also been set up in her memory.

    Steve Bull knew very little about horses but when his wife Kathryn died suddenly in a freak accident at her livery yard in Blidworth, he had to take over....and learn quickly.

  16. Hales commits to club until 2018

    Alex Hales has signed a new two-year contract with Nottinghamshire.

    The 27-year-old has made 238 appearances for the club since his debut in 2008 and over the past year he has become an England regular.
