Twenty sunken wrecks can finally be removed from the River Hull near Beverley.
The Environment Agency has just issued the permits needed to remove the abandoned boats from the water.
The work had been held up because a protected fish, the Lamprey, was known to live in the River.
The East Riding of Yorkshire Council wants to remove the wrecks as it's believed they are impeding the water flow and increasing the risk of serious flooding.
