Witness sees French police confront 'burkini ban' woman

French police have confronted a woman on a beach in Nice and appeared to make her remove some of her clothing as part of a ban on the "burkini".

Mayors in several French towns have banned the wearing of so-called burkinis, which cover the body and head, citing concerns about religious clothing in the wake of recent terrorist killings in the country.

Mathilde Cousin was at the beach and told BBC Radio 4's World at One what she saw.
