Magistrates in Leeds have given them permission to dispose of the chemicals which were seized from four shops last May because they were on sale despite being described as things like plant food or bath crystals.
The drugs are technically known as 'psychoactive substances' they were banned under a new law introduced in May of this year.

Fatal dog attack: Post mortem carried out
A post mortem has been carried out on the body of Huddersfield man David Ellam, who died after a dog attacked him on Monday.
Police say that the 52-year-old died of a result of multiple injuries.
The animal is still alive and being kept in kennels, officers say the dog will be kept there until their investigation finishes.

Riders have set off on the Jo Cox Way, a 260 mile charity bike ride to raise funds for the charities the murdered Batley and Spen MP supported.
They set off from Batley at 10:00 and should arrive in Westminster in four days.

A so-called 'swingers club' could be on the way to opening its doors in Leeds. The city council's been recommended to approve plans for the club, which would be in a warehouse in Armley.

Investigation underway after gunfire in Huddersfield
A 31-year-old man's been arrested after reports of shots being fired in Huddersfield.
Police were called to reports of a gun being fired in the Crosland Moor area yesterday evening.
They say people fled the scene in a car travelling towards Dewsbury.
