A woman who may have been robbed at a cashpoint in Hull before dragged by her arm along the road is being sought by police.

The suspected robbery took place outside the Sainsbury's store on Anlaby Road just before 20:00 on Tuesday.

Neither the victim or offender were found by officers despite "extensive searches", police say.

The possible victim is described as white, aged between 40 and 50-years-old, about 5ft 5in tall with a large build and long grey hair in a ponytail down her back.

There's slow traffic on the A63 west bound between the Mytongate roundabout and St Andrews Quay, because of an accident.

A woman's been arrested following the sudden death of a 48-year-old man in Hull.

Ambulance workers reported Michael Logan's death on Saturday 20 August after they were called to an address in Mulcourt on the Orchard Park Estate. 

His death is being treated as unexplained and a police investigation is currently underway.

The 36-year-old woman arrested in connection with the death is currently in police custody. 

A man from Hull is among three men charged with fraud in relation to the horsemeat scandal of three years ago. 

Alex Ostler-Beech who's 43 and from the Sutton area of Hull, Ulrick Nielson from London and Andronicos Sideras from Denmark will appear before City of London magistrates at the end of September.

In 2013 UK supermarkets were at the centre of a horsemeat contamination crisis, with products labelled as beef and other meats were found to contain various amounts of horse flesh.   

Fifty elderly residents of an East Yorkshire care home have been given one month to find somewhere else to live. 

The privately run Westwood Park care home in Beverley is closing. 

Residents' families have been told it's because of large property repair bills.

We are still waiting to hear back from Londesborough Healthcare Ltd who run Westwood Park.

East Riding Council says it will work closely with the care home's residents to help find them alternative accommodation. 

The company behind the redevelopment of Hull city centre says it has sacked 27 workers over the past two months because they were under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Eurovia says it routinely tests all staff as part of health and safety standards.

Those sacked include both permanent staff and sub-contractors. 

The company says it's had no impact on the project.

The demolition of flats in Grimsby has started. 

Shoreline Housing is knocking down Comber Place in the East Marsh estate, as part of a major redevelopment of the town. 

It says the flats were unpopular, losing money and being vandalised. 

They'll be gone by the end of October, and the neighbouring tower blocks are expected to come down next year.

One Hull FC fan will be traveling to Wembley to watch tomorrow's Challenge Cup final in a shirt which belonged to her great granddad.

Emma Wrigley's shirt was originally worn by Gregor Rodgers who was in the squad in 1914.

And with it, end his former club's hoodoo at the national stadium - a victory that would again see the black and white half of Hull party in the streets and forever silence the other half of the city.

Cooke was the hero in the 2005 showpiece, crossing to put the Airlie Birds within a Danny Brough conversion of victory against Leeds Rhinos.

However, that success was at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium with Wembley being rebuilt - and not getting the chance to play at the national stadium remains a minor frustration in a fine career.

"If I could pull the kit on for one more game, this would be the one," the 35-year-old tells BBC Sport.

We should continue to see plenty of fine, dry weather this afternoon with broken cloud but also some good spells of sunshine.

It'll feel pleasantly warm in the sun with gentle to moderate westerly winds and highs of about 21C (70F).

The club's bidding for a first ever win at the national stadium and full back Jamie Shaul says he hopes his second appearance in the final will bring joy:

After a number of fires were started between Cleethorpes Leisure Centre and Pleasure Island between April and August, a new initiative's been launched in a bid to tackle suspicious activity.

The idea is to get dog walkers looking out for things like graffiti, fly tipping or people acting in a suspicious manner.
