What a couple, what a story
Plenty to cheer about but day 11 was all about these two: Jason Kenny and Laura Trott.

Record-breaking overseas Games
Team GB have won 50 medals in Rio, surpassing the previous best at an away Games of 47 at Beijing 2008.
"What this team has delivered so far is an incredible achievement and the country should be extremely proud of the athletes and their support staff," said Team GB's Rio 2016 chef de mission Mark England.
"The best ever away Games is a piece of history and I'm delighted that we've been able to reach that target so on early on at Rio 2016.
"With five days still to go, and a number of sports yet to even start competing, no doubt we can look forward to more success to come from Team GB."
Britain's 'Terrific Tuesday'

Down the back straight, you almost wanted to go out and give Laura Muir a push. She couldn't keep going, she had burned so much of her pace trying to get to that point.
She was hanging on and it is horrible because you can feel the other athletes coming past you. There is pain everywhere.
You feel like you're carrying a fridge down the home straight.

You cannot fault Laura Muir for effort, she breaks out with the leaders, but doesn't quite have the gas to hold on and slips to a still very credible 7th.
Kenya's Kipyegon takes gold from Ethiopa's Dibaba with Jennifer Simpson of USA taking bronze.
GB's other representative Laura Weightman improved on her performance on London 2012, finishing in 11th.

GB's Robbie Grabarz after finishing fourth to narrowly miss out on a second Olympic medal: "I made one fatal error at 2:25 and it cost me a medal. But I'm proud of finishing fourth at an Olympic Games, even though it is a punishing place to finish.
On the controversy after his 2.33m jump: "It was a technicality. They held the white flag up which means it is the end of your go and the bar was cleared. The bar did then fell off, but technically they had given me the clearance. I explained the rules to them and they had to check and double check. It was stressful. They made a mistake."

The track and field athletes couldn't quite follow up the antics of the track cyclists on terrific Tuesday, so GB stays on four medals in the table. A chance of adding to that tomorrow, though.

It is great to see Omar McLeod take the title. He has been in the shadows of Jamaican team-mate Hansle Parchment for so long. Now after all the injury problems Omar has had - for many years - it is nice to see him win.
He blasted out of the blocks, backed off a little bit and then settled down quickly. There was no urgency with his hurdling, which is exactly what you need to do to win a major title.
He got over the barriers nice and clean and won gold.
