  4. Masked gang attack man in Scunthorpe

    A masked gang wearing balaclavas attacked a man in Scunthorpe on Friday 19 August.

    The group launched their attack on the victim's car at the junction of Teale and Berkeley Street at around 19:00 BST.

    As the victim got out of his car one of the group and attacked him with a knife.

  5. Hull FC Players release cup song

    Hull FC players past and present have teamed up to release a double track Wembley record ahead of their Challenge Cup Final.

    Former cup hero Sammy Lloyd, has worked with the club and local band Hillbilly Troupe to produce his very own ode to Hull FC, called ‘Come on you ‘ull!’

    Both songs are available to download from iTunes.

  6. Two men wanted for 'widespread graffiti' in Hull

    Humberside Police have released a CCTV picture of two men they want to interview after widespread graffiti on Spring Bank and Hull city centre overnight on Saturday 13 August into Sunday 14 August.

  8. Hull named one of the worst places for people getting their recycling wrong

    Hull has been named among the worst places in England for people getting their recycling wrong, meaning tons of recyclable waste is rejected. 

    The city's now spending £100,000 on consultants to get the message across.

    Scunthorpe midfielder Duane Holmes will hope to shake off a sickness bug, after being withdrawn during the first half of Saturday's 5-0 win over Gillingham.

    Fellow midfielder Sam Mantom and forward Luke Williams are doubts.

    Bristol City will be without right-back Adam Matthews, who is out for up to four weeks with a hamstring injury.
